1-1 yesterday..wasy win outright with Charlotte +7.5. Ohio couldnt hang lost that one. Sometimes u ick a game like Charlotte and you feel like you deserve more than just your bet, when you win that easy, but unfortunately its not like that.
2 games today..at work right now, can write too much Ill touch on one for now...
Fordham vs. Fairfield:
Fordham is coming off their first win this year, albeit against Lafayette, but hey a win is a win. They stroked 8 3's and hit pretty strong from the field. Problem though, they are going to play a team with some size...Fairfield has a pretty solid front court, that poses problems for the Rams. The Rams have been out rebounded in every game but 2. The Fairfield front court can step outside and shoot from the field as well. Knowing that Fairfield can shoot from anywhere, this doesnt bode well for a team that just does NOT play defense. They are letting opponents shoot 47.5% from the field, which is among the worst in the nation. They dont guard the 3 well (opponents shooting 39.8%). I think you get the point...did I mention they shoot FT's under 60%?
They are laying 8.5 (Fairfield), but taking into consideration that Fordham lost by 20 to JMU...Fairfield can certainly cover this. You have to wonder though did something click against Lafayette and now the Rams will be more competitive? Bethel has been the lone bright spot for Fordham..averaging 13-8 every night.
Right now Im leaning Fairfield, but 8.5 is a LOT to lay on a team like that (no offense FU)...
I do think there will be a good amount of pts tonight though, and after 2 games of nothing from Fordham on the O (sans Laf),..I forsee a lower line than normal. Anything about 130ish Ill easily hop on the over..no idea what to project...135??
