The best team doesn&#x27;t always win, as is the case in the BCS, but far less often. The buzz of this whole tournament fades away after the opening weekend. The conference tournaments are much better and much more exciting. The best teams have one off night, and mediocre teams get hot for 3 games and all of a sudden one team is more deserving than another. There&#x27;s so much luck involved, moreso than skill in winning this tournament it&#x27;s absolutely unreal. After the first weekend of the tournament I know I won&#x27;t be watching this garbage anymore. Enjoy.

Yankees fan as well, at least in baseball you have 5-7 games to get your act together. I know people love the one-and-done scenario but when it&#x27;s as drawn out and watered down as the NCAA tournament is, the end result can often be something like what we saw tonight.

Scott van pelt said it well the other day. You arent crowning the best team, you are crowning a national champ. Thats it. This tournament is the best in sports. Baseball is my fav sport but this is still the best tourney. NOTHING college football does excites me with how they decide the champions. The bowl system is god awful. I mean the nfl is one and done also in the playoffs. Who was better in 2007 the pats or giants? Pats were but the giants got the one win

The difference in talent level in teams in the NFL and Baseball, and teams in the BCS games are almost always minimal. The giants and pats game showcased top 10 teams squaring off. That&#x27;s usually the case in bases and the BCS. You&#x27;re almost always getting two top teams battling for the championship. Tonight we saw a 20-25th ranked team beat a team ranked somewhere in the 30&#x27;s-40&#x27;s. How deserving they indeed are.

Fraud champion???As opposed to what? The team the scores 41? UCONN was better team and beat Butler at their craptastic style of play.The game went exactly as I scripted it would. UCONN was to much for Butler in the post and it was obvious. They also were by far the better team. UCONN won 11 straight games winning the Big East and the NC. Give them the respect they deserve.

Absolutely the weakest National Champion we've had in quite some time. Maybe it's time to do away with seeding...UConn should've been a 12 or 13 seed and I think that would have made a difference.

It's a shame we go all the way through the tourney and get a championship game of this quality. I could pick 15 teams that would have beat either of these pretenders tonight. It's this very reason that I don't wager the tourney.
