Top NCAAB Covers Cappers

Question

I am making this thread for only for the purpose of condensing the top covers cappers picks into one thread. The cappers i will be choosing will be ones that i find to be consistent and have been around for a decent amount of time. Cappers i will not be putting in here will be ones that quickly go on hot streaks and gather a huge following making outrageous unit bets and dont show good BRM.

Here are a couple of basic guidelines:

- I will not be releasing the names of the cappers i use in this thread.

- If two cappers are on opposite sides of a game i will not post that game in this thread.

- Since cappers will most likely be betting different unit sizes on the same game i will not be posting unit sizes ( If this thread begins to have a following, which i highly doubt it will, and people want to have the unit sizes shown then i will add them)

- Since i will have to wait til late in the day to make the daily post lines will most likely have changed by then so i WILL be putting the different lines that were chosen and not the current line.

I am mainly doing this for research purposes. I am very interested to see how well the picks do when you combine multiple cappers together. I am not looking for any credit nor should i receive any i am simply gathering consistent cappers' picks and putting them in one place. If this thread ends up doing well go out and thank every capper on covers for the hard work they do everyday FOR FREE so you and I can continue to not pay for picks.

I will have the gathered picks from today out in a couple hours.

sorry i was not aware someone else was already doing this. Are you keeping your thread active and up to date? If so maybe we can leave two of these going and see how it pans out for each thread. Would be interesting to see the difference because i bet we will have a couple different cappers that the other doesnt.

A good one, no doubt.   But after reading the other thread, that poster -- like most people -- are hoping someone else does the actual gruntwork.&#xD;&#xA;If you&#x27;re planning on doing this, more power to you.  I&#x27;m sure lots of people are interested to see how it turns out.

Also i decided that it would be better to actually list out the individual cappers with their picks. I would then highlight any conflicting picks in red so they would easily stand out. I would keep separate records for each capper and then have a group record. The group record would not have the conflicting picks in them. Before i do this i would like to get in touch with the cappers i am currently using and ask them if this is ok with them. Since they are doing all the hard work they deserve the right to decide if they want to allow me to repost their picks in this thread. Because of this i will not have the individual cappers listed today but hopefully by tomorrow i will have gotten in touch with all of them.

ok so this how it is looking for today there is one more capper i would like to add but i will let these go for now and make another post if he posts his picks today:

also another thing i will need some input on . . . if all the cappers allow me to use their names i will need help on how to do the following:

The cappers all use different unit amounts so in some situations there will be a capper that has bet 1 unit on a game and another capper who has bet 3 units on the same game (same side as well). When caluclating the group total how should i go about this situation? If your betting the group you obviously dont make 2 separate bets for different unit sizes so how should i go about decided what the group unit bet should be? Should i average the 2 amount to make that a 1.5 unit bet for the group? Please let me know your ideas if you have any.

I like the idea and I would say an average for unit amount. I assume and hope that nropp is the capper you are waiting for as he should be included imho. Should be interesting and this could save some time for people like me who spend time every day gathering a consensus before placing bets. Good luck Howard

handicapper, i am not sure who dropped your ice cream stick today but listen. I am doing this to simply track a goup of cappers on covers. I know for a FACT that you go around and trail cappers on this site. Shit, i am pretty sure you trail almost every single one of the cappers i am using. So what is it to you if i decide to condense all these cappers info into one thread that can be tracked as both a group as well as individually?

I know u started ur own thread for picks but once u went on a bad run you gave up . . . seeing you have not posted any picks in a number of days. I guess you realized it is better for you to trail.

Great idea Howard.  One quick question, many cappers post games throughout the evening.  Are you only tracking those that post all of their plays before the 7pmEST games start?

I will be posting the picks that are posted before 6pm central.Also i am open to any suggestions on adding or removing cappers.  I would like this to be a community thing so any input or advice is welcome.Tomorrow i will begin listing the picks by cappers.  I will highlight any conflicting picks so they can be easily seen.  I have already had a couple of these guys tell me it is ok to repost their picks in this thread with their name.  I am going to go ahead and just list everyone and their picks.  If any of the cappers have a problem with this they can let me know i will have no problem changing their names to anonymous tho it will not be very hard for people to find out who they are.

also adding on to the question about providing all the picks throughout the night or just the ones before the first round of games . . . .

The reality if this is there is no way i will be around everyday to constantly check if a capper on this list has a added a late game to their picks.

What i can do swift through each cappers thread at the end of the night and add in any late games that came in. Also if i am around i will update this thread with these late picks.

Another thing that would be a huge help is if anyone else that feels like following this thread would also help out. By that i mean if you follow these cappers as well as this thread please feel free to post a late pick you see the capper making in this thread so others will know about it if they dont follow that particular capper. If you would like to do this please list the cappers name and his pick and then provide a link to his thread so that it can be confirmed by other people following the thread. I ask for the link to be posted also in case trolls invade posting nonsense picks. This way we can check before locking in the pick that the capper actually did make this pick.

So i guess i change my answer to the question but it is only fair that all of the cappers picks are also tracked here.
