Washington only shoots 44% from the field so that tells you they like to run and put up a lot of shots..Being the home team in this game, I think E. Washington will dictate the pace and Morehead has shown in their games against the smaller programs that they like to score too as evidenced by the following games:vs. Lipscomb 84-98 (182 points)vs. NKU 79-84 (163 points)vs. Marshall 77-85 (162 points)In their last 6 games E. Washington games have had the following points scored 179, 181, 186, 165 and 158.I think this total is set too low at 152.5 and this game sets up well to go over this total.

#2.  (4-5) Denver &#x2B;6.5 points over (6-3) South AlabamaHere is an interesting connection....follow closely.  South Alabama lost to Stetson 78-87 (by 11 points).  Why is this important? Because 2 weeks ago Stetson who beat South Alabama lost to Air Force.Here is the connection....Denver just beat Air Force at Air Force 77-65 (by 12 points).  This tells me that Denver might have a better team than S. Alabama.  Prior to that game Denver played Tex Am and that did not work out too well, but Denver is a respectable (3-3) on the road this year.S. Alabama is (6-3) on the year because they have not played one major conference game and the closest thing to one was their first game of the year against a weak UNLV team that just got destroyed at home by DUKE.Denver is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games against the Sun Belt Conference.Denver is 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games on the road.I am not even sure S. Alabama should be favored in this game, so I will gladly take the &#x2B;6.5 points.

#3. Montana (3-7) and Oregon (8-2) OVER 138

Montana scores an average of 72.3 points per game and gives up an average of 74.1 (146.4 total points).

Oregon scores an average of 76.2 points per game and gives up an average of 63.8 (140 total points)

In their last 5 games Montana has scored the following points 83, 81, 75, 67 and 81. The total points scored in those games has been 168, 143, 143, 139 and 167. All exceeding 138.

Oregon has been at their scoring best vs. the smaller program teams.

Savannah 128-59 (187 points)

WORE 93-54 (147 points)

Army 91-77 (168 points)

I think Montana falls into the category of the teams above where Oregon opens up and I look for a fast pace high scoring game that should exceed the 138 total.

Betall, I always love your picks!  You have been hitting it lately but this game scares me and I want to know what you think about it.  Eastern Washington has had 3 (if I am not mistaken) games in overtime and one maybe double OT.  That maybe has inflated their numbers and I am wondering if you took that into consideration?

Good point, but Yes....in 3 of their non OT games they scored 103, 96 and 81 points.  They also had a 72-96 game against Northwestern (168 points).  All of this leads me to believe in this match-up both teams get somewhere into the 70&#x2B; point range.

#4.  Monmouth and Memphis OVER 150.5Monmouth (8-2) has been a pretty consistent scoring machine whether at home or on the road in their last 6 games ringing up 81, 81, 94, 91, 80 and 86 points and 3 of these 6 games were on the road.  On the season they average 79 point per game while giving up 72, which is right at the total 151.Memphis has also been one of the higher scoring teams averaging 82 point per game while giving up a generous 72 (154 total average)In the last home game Memphis played they only score 62 points vs. UAB but they only shot 39% from the field well below their 48% average and also they were dismal from 3 point range 2-12 (16%).I don&#x27;t expect Memphis to have that same problem at home tonight against Monmouth and I expect Monmouth to get close to their 80 point average with a final score in the area of 82-79, which will exceed the total of 150.5.  Let&#x27;s hope both teams play to form and get close to their 80 point averages for the OVER.

I just put in the #&#x27;s to keep track of the number of plays they are not ranked although I bet slightly more on some of the plays I feel stronger about..  My procedure is to try to take a detailed look at every game and quickly rule out some games.  My best and busiest days are when there are a lot of lined games.  Today is not one of them and because I am on a good streak, I probably bet 2 more games than I would have today.   Friday night I will typically find my best plays because of the size of the Saturday card and I will spend 5-7 hours scrubbing through all the games looking for the best situations.  Last Saturday I came up with 14 plays out of about 120 games and went 10-4.If I have games I really like, I will start putting a * next to them, but I do bet all of the games I post and I bet before I post, so that I get the line I am posting.  Today, it hurt me on Denver, because I now see S. Alabama up to -7.  Today I do not think any game falls into the * category.  Hope that helps.

The last 6 times these two have met they scored the following points.

85-62 (147)

This is a pretty strong trend to the OVER 138 with only one of the last 6 games coming in below this number.

In Nova's last 4 games the totals have hit the following:

74-66 (140) in this game they were 4-16 from 3 pt. range

82-57 (139)

Temple is averaging 72.5 points per game and giving up 71 for a total of 143.4 points. I think they give up a few more tonite.

Nova averages 79.3 points per game and I think they get about 78 tonight at home with Temple contributing at least 64 for a total of 142, which will be a winner.

Thanks guys!!!Already put up my Wednesday Card.  Have a late doctors appt. tomorrow afternoon and busy morning, and have to collect from the MAN, so worked on it tonight.  Really like tomorrow&#x27;s (4) plays I have already posted.Might have 1 or 2 in the morning, but wanted to take care of it tonight while I had time.Also, hate to wake up in the mornings and find the line has already moved 2 or 3 points.  Of course, I bet Denver at &#x2B;4.5 and then more at &#x2B;5.5 and then they went all of the way up to &#x2B;7.  Shows you how irrelevant and misleading the line move can be.Sometimes I think the Books do that just to get money on the other side, because so many people handicap games, by playing the line moves.  How did that work out on S. Alabama:))BOL to all!!!
