I was looking at the games for this week and BYU -2.5 caught my eye. I started looking around at a few things and noticed BYU has already gone up to - 3 now. So I am going to lock this one in now because I expect the public to keep betting BYU up in the next day or two.

I'm with you there with BYU.

I did a bunch of reading on it myself and I also can't find a reason for BYU to lose ... and that's kind of scary, as you know, just when you think a team can't lose...

But I do think that BYU is a good one to back and I'll go with -1, too.

Playing conservative is smart.

In one book tonight I took Atlanta Hawks 2H at -3.5 -- I didn't like that bet, but it was the only number that was allowed on this one book, so I did a small one for a quarter unit. It lost.

In this other book, it gave me options for the Hawks +3 2H and I took it, despite the juice on it. It won and I made a unit.

As I expected, the Hawks went up and would have easily covered the -3.5, but there was a backdoor cover that blew it, which is why I went with the +3 option.

BOL to you and to everyone else in March Madness.  

Watch for a post by KingRGIII ... he says that he has a GOY that never has lost that he releases just once a year in March Madness. He said that he'd release it sometime on Tues/Wed time frame. He said that he goes to Vegas every year to wager cash on this GOY bet, in addition to his online bets.

Might be worth watching for.

Yes but I like - 1 or ML better. I think BYU puts up big points and wins easily so hopefully it won't matter.

my book has it at -3 and i can only buy down until -1.5... ML isn't available yet too..

I went to my stupid book (TopBet) to place my BYU bet and found this snippet in the news section of TopBet, to wit:

Washington Post was one of the first media outlets to release its own first round predictions with Neil Greenberg picking a number of upsets happening right from the get-go. Greenberg thinks that 11-seed BYU will take care of Ole Miss in the play-in round before proceeding to kick 6-seed Xavier out of the tournament. He cites the Cougars’ efficient offense and excellent free throw shooting as keys for BYU.

TopBet would not even allow points adjustment at all, so I had to settle for BYU -2.5. Meh.

But I think that BYU will cover that.

I was able to get what I wanted with 5Dimes with BYU at -1.

TopBet does have some interesting articles that are useful, especially the one about sleeper teams that are poised to knock off some big wins.
