austin peay &#x2B;5tough game to cap here. western carolina has lost to a bad unc asheville team and their only win comes against a down vcu team who they beat by 2.austin peay is longer and lankier so they should have a decisive advantage on the boards. both teams can score, neither have proven they can play defense, so rebounding will be a major factor, second chance points on offense will be key.also i like that the public is on western carolina right now, that typically fairs well for the underdog in the first game of the day.tough one but i like austin peay close, maybe even to pull out a win.good luck to all

marquette 1H -8.5miss st. is riddled with injury. unc is good but miss st made them look great because they simply do not have the horses to compete. their two best players are out with injury and they have been forced to not only dress but play walk ons. this wont fair well against a marquette team who seething from a buzzer beater loss to butler. buzz always has got the team going after a win marquettes overall 23-6 record in thanksgiving tournaments shows the trend that they dont lose twice in a row early in the season.the reason i took the first half is because i can see this getting out of hand and marquette cruising in the second half. i dont want to have to rely on the bench to score a few points in the last 4 minutes to preserve the cover.good luck to all

texas &#x2B;3another one that is not easy to cap. both teams looked terrible yesterday and neither gave their opponent much of a game. texas has more length and more athletic ability which should be a factor all game. they struggled from the free throw line yesterday but if you are counting on them shooting 57% from there again, it just wont happen.texas has some play makers, they simply sleep walked into a situation and got beat. usc on the other hand, knew their opponent was tough, prepared for the game, and got ran out of the gym by 30. its one thing to overlook and opponent and get beat, its another to prepare for an opponent and be embarassed.usc is not ready to put together two halves, which is something they will have to do against a texas team with coach barnes who has pride and will want to show the basketball community that yesterday was a fluke. this is a bad time to get this texas team.good luck to all
