As I've said before in posts I am a Louisville fan and I have, for the most part, been unimpressed with the Cards this year. I try not to bet for/against my squad, but when I have I believe I'm 3-1 this year...I think I only posted Va Tech but that's not impt. I digress, what I've noticed is teams that D up, Louisville has trouble with because they struggle to score anyways. Teams that don't play a lot of D aren't usually a big problem for The Cards (not to say they always win). UNC in my opinion isn't a particularly good defensive team and have had some cakewalk games recently.
For those that like trends Louisville is 18-2 off a loss since joining the ACC I was told by a friend but I didn't check the state, we'll assume it's close because I don't feel like going through past schedules and didn't find in a quick Google search...too tired right now.
My book opened at Cards-1.5/UNC+1.5 and obviously Louisville is coming off one of the worst losses at Home in years. Jus wanted to here what you guys thought, any input is welcomed/appreciated. I don't think I'll be taking this game for fairly obvious reasons but I look forward to what you guys think. Thanks!

Is this young team mature enough to bounce back off such an embarrassing outing to play to their actual potential? And is their potential enough to possibly beat UNC? They're gonna have to punch the Tarheels in the mouth and not let up.

Louisville HAD Sparty dead in the water and let up, but YES it does bother me QCKnight!!!
BidsOnBat, my local book has -1/+1 and my friends book (Book32.com) not sure whether it's local or not is still resting -1.5/+1.5 with UNC being largely public at the moment I don't see the line going to 2, but I've been wrong before!
GL everyone. Any input still welcomed, preciate it fellas.

UNC clearly has superior talent. I don't think it was a stomach bug (according to Pitino) that affected Onuaku (starting Center) last game as much as foul trouble. Brice Johnson will get his, I foresee it being a story of whether UNC gets easy transition buckets AND if Marcus Paige shoots well. He hasn't been his normal self...which speaking in probabilities doesn't bode well for Louisville

Saw a stat where UofL is 16-2, 13-5 ATS when the cards have a game two days after a loss under Pitino FWIW.
I was at the game last year in Louisville, UNC was up 16 or so early 2nd half. UofL came back to tie it, UofL killed em in OT. UNC was in a ton of foul trouble. UofL should have won at UNC last year, had big lead late and blew it on a Page lay up with 6 seconds left. Blackshear missed a wide open 3 at the buzzer. UNC pretty much handled UofL in the ACC tourney last year.
Your gambling on this game Monday night, wouldn't be surprised by any outcome.

Pitino at UK 1-1 vs Williams at Kansas
Pitino at UofL 1-4 vs Williams at UNC

Yes sir, not blaming the UNC pick. Keep in mind this isn't Louisville's first time in a big game, just saying. Should the spread by UNC by 3? or 4? Cards will play well today.

Yum! Center will be rocking, no doubt. Like you said, L'ville has trouble scoring at times, unless they're raining threes. I still like the superior athletes in UNC.
My play is to parlay UNC with some good MLs and buy some points for UNC. If it's a free throw battle at the end, those extra few points could make or break it.
Maybe parlay smh ML, Florida St ML, UNC w points (around 7-8).
I know, I know. Parlays are just like giving money away. This seems a unique situation, however.

My book has unc +1. You can go up to +3. Where can you get 7 or 8? And why not just tease it then with your other picks?

Online, better payout with ML of SMU and FSU, then having room to tease the UNC line up...I got 1 unit to win about 1.2 w/ SMU ML, FSU ML, and UNC +9. I've done plenty of 6.5 point teasers, and they are always 1.2 to win 1 unit. If I have confidence in a win, just choose the ML and then buy points with the other team(s).
Either way, parlay haters gonna hate. Proceed w caution
