safe bets and obvious lines usually end up in losses. The public has a short memory. You're telling me that UNC has won 12 straight and Louisville just got destroyed, and Louisville is favored?! Seems off. Give me The Ville all day.

you know who is better at looking at stats than you? Vegas, that's who. Throw stats out the window, and take the team the shouldn't be favored. Louisville -1 for $1,000, Alex.

Unc all day----Louisville will not be able to flip the switch---and play this uptempo game with the Heels......I don't see it being a debacle---but 8-9 point win for Unc....

Pitino has not beaten UNC while at UL and is 1-9 against UK. Don't overlook the obvious, UNC has double the talent. Pitino can win against rah rah coaches, he can't against elite talent like Duke, UNC, UK. Take the Heels.

No way UNC wins by 8-9. Come back and rip me to shreds if they do and I'll accept it with open arms.

Whoever mentioned trends: Louisville 18-2 off loss since joining ACC, that's a better trend than Pitino 2-5 vs Roy over 20+ years or whatever, IMO. Carolina doesn't have a resume that Wows you, but they are very good and have my bet (not actually gonna bet it) to win the 'Ship in March.

Carolina -1 maybe more depending on the $, Louisville may win in an upset but Im still taking the best team in the country.  Good luck to all

Line is about right again this is a huge statement game for both teams. It's always hard to win on the road, but UNC is a very good squad that is already battle tested on the road with an enormous amount of talent. Louisville has a lot of new faces Damion Lee is a pretty good shooting guard, but then again the competition he is facing now compared to days in Drexel is a lot more tougher in a consistent basis. Expect to see a close game throughout most of the game.

Big Boss Man you are a moron and have 0 factual base. Pitino for one is a HOF coach, so you can quit there. Second, Louisville beat UNC last year once and if you even watched college basketball you would have seen them have a wide open attempt for the win in the first game. And I guess Louisville beating Duke by 22 in the NCAA tournament on the way to a Championship should be ignored? Don't come into my thread and spew BS everywhere. At least know what you're talking about and have stats or facts.

Currently, one public bet site I like to use has 75% on N. Carolina and the line hasn't budged from the opening number +1 for NC. To me, that signals a red flag Too early in the day to determine, but I would have to think that if line stays true, I will be laying down on the Cards.Long hill to climb from a very, very very bad performance Sat. to flip the switch so suddenly though.

OTownKid, that seems to be the consensus. Either way, it's not a bad play. You're getting superior talent but the road team with a #2 target on their back. Or you take a less talented team at home coming off a big loss. The line is asking for UNC money

Give me the better & hotter team all day.

That huge 18-2 record after a loss is overrated.

What would that record be had they played a #2

team after the loss? Im thinking 50% at best.

Let's also remember NC will not overlook this Louis Squad.

I cant go with the team that's due so I gotta go with the team that's doing! NC +2 1/2 -140

This game reminds me of how everyone was afraid to pull that trigger on Carolina -2.5 vs the Seahawks. Vegas can screw with your heads my friends! Go with the better team when you get points.
