ryno - thanks for your plays regardless of wins or losses.  And there's truly no reason to apologize. That being said,  the words are appreciated since they show you take posting your plays seriously.  You're truly a class act.

ryno,  I personally think you would have to have at least 5 losing nights in a row, to even think about apologizing at this juncture. Even then you dont owe nobody sh it.  thanks for putting in the time and lets net some profit this wknd

thanks guys...makes this thread enjoyable to come in even after we lose. I know it sux trust me...  that card last night...damn...like I said..this gambling thing is humbling..and im glad 99% of you understand and don't come in and bash and all the childish stuff.

we just got to move on to next day...106 games tomorrow...gotta be some winners in there  :)  liking marist a lot tonight..they been playing hard and nothing but tough losses to show for it....I think they can handle this st peters team that is struggling right now... id double bet it but I gotta be disciplined and stay the course. gl tonight...marist +1.5 is the pick...ryno

Ryno - You have nothing to apologize for. You are an honest handicapper playing your own picks while trying to help others.  People can fade or follow.  Either way, it is THEIR choice and only have themselves to blame if they don't win.  

One thing I notice a lot of posters doing is calling a play the POD or POY or some other nonsense.  Money management is key with this and you seem to have that under control, too.  So, cheers, thanks for all you do and keep your head up, no matter what

I rarely post, but read here everyday. I haven't played any of your system picks, or many of your personal, but you seem to be pretty good at this. I do read everything you post and take that into consideration when I'm betting. So as I said, I haven't played many of your posts, but I have NOT bet on things when you've been on the opposite side. It's saved me a time or 2!

thanks deuce..we are all here to try and beat the number...I always listen to anyones take on things and never force picks on people...hopefully we all can beat the books...ryno

Was lucky enough to stumble into one of your threads a month or so ago and have great respect for your knowledge and enthusiastic, positive style.  Love digging into games and have gleaned much from games you post.  Greatly appreciated.  Regards to Durham, Moreland, Dunston and The "Hawk".

whoooa...you bring a smile to my face...those cubbies you mention weren't hall of famers or big stars to the norm but tried and true I pulled for every one of them as they approached the plate. sooo many cubbies I can list..how bout bobby dineir? or rick Monday ron cey, Dejesus ...lets go back to many trillo  glen beckert  santo...billy Williams... 'kong'  kingman... even when the guy struck out..which was many times it was awesome to see him take a cut.

loved the bus trips to wrigley when I was in little league with all my little buds dreamin one day to touch the field. so many memories... the transitor radio after school at baseball practice listening to the cubbies as we warmed up..only day game going at the time....man I miss those day  lol..ahhhhh.memories...   ty bud  ryno

To follow up on the other games tonight
Harvard has to go to Columbia tomorrow, and then the showdown with Yale for the title next Friday.  I'm not saying play Cornell, but don't play Harvard.

Iona, Ryno hit it on the head, can't stop a square wheel, although if Manhattan goes cold for 4-5 mins as they are prone to doing, Iona could put 15 up real quick.  I like the over in that game.

Valpo SHOULD take care of Cleveland St, but this game every year is a battle and it looked as though Valpo got caught looking ahead to this game when they let Detroit sneak by them the other night.  Not to mention the log jam at 2nd place in the Horizon.  This game has lots of conference tournament implications.  I don't want any part of it.  

Speaking of getting caught looking, that very well could be the case this evening at Columbia.  Dartmouth has the guard play to stay in this game. Give me the Big Green.

Quinnipiac is the #1 overall rebounding team in the country.  Siena....254th.  Saints get pounded on the glass, doesn't set them up to get out and run, and the Bobcats cruise.

Yale is good.  If they don't win the conference, they won't get into the dance, but they can play.  Harvard next week. No interest.

I agree 200% with Ryno on the Marist play. 

Akron at home is pretty darn good. Ohio is pretty darn bad on the road. Is Akron 10.5 points better than Ohio? You bet your biscuits they are.....especially with Ohio having to go to Buffalo on Tuesday.  Zips cover the number but its close!

Penn/Brown and Canisius/Fairfield I have nothing worth noting to say.  

Good luck everyone.  The Valpo game should be a treat to watch, so if you get the chance, tune in.
