I dont think MICHST is a 16 pt fav to any team in their conf this year.

Penn St. vs. Michigan St. -15 (3 units) - the Spartans need a strong performance here to stay in the hunt for the Big 10 title after they lost to Indiana in their last game.  This is a rematch from about 2 weeks ago when the Nittany Lions actually won at home 85-76.  Penn St is a downright awful away team only going 2-5 so far, and conversely Michigan St. is an amazing 15-0 at home.  The Spartans have lost 3 of their last 4 with their only home game being the lone win.  Tom Izzo is a great coach and he knows how to prep a team for a game like this.  They might have already fallen out of contention for that Big 10 title but you just need the mentality to keep on winning.  Watch out for Drew Neitzel tonight too, the veteran general will take over this game and put the team on his back.

Agree with u in part Obes.  Izzo superior coaching skills worth a couple extra points, and Spartans need to find a way to post an impressive win, but what worries me is they havent managed to post 80 pts this yr in conference play and have failed ATS in their last 4, 5 out of 6. 
 
On the flip side, Nitts are unlikely to come close to duplicating their 49% FG of the season's earlier meeting.  question is how far off do they fall.  If Spartans cant find a way to hit 80 they have to hold Penn 63 or less which is right around both teams avg in conf play.  Factor in home/away of course, but i am concerned that Penn seems to be trending up at the moment and Mich St down.

I will take 15.5 points in almost ANY Big 10 matchup. Especially one where the underdog has already beaten the other team by 9 points a few weeks earlier. Penn St. has this one real close at the half which helps keep this one under the spread.

Penn St. struggling for offense of late,  season average is 66.5 they have not hit this in but one of there last 9 games.
 
Mich st. does not win if they give up more thatn 62 pts.  Look for IZZY to preach defense in this one.  Mich St. wins big but  15.5 is a lot of pts.
