1 play today for me with a write-up....

well guys on Saturday had a 3-1 day +$1,870 mainly due to my 2 max plays Clemson and Washington taking care of business{I'm still shocked Washington crapped all over Boise} 4-1 in week 1 +$1,950. It was nice to get off to a good start but if i don't take care of business this week than what does it matter?

Also real quick before i get to my play tonight my thread from Saturday was bumped on Sunday and i was asked by someone who did i like on Sunday's card. So i'll let it be known now i won't have a play tomorrow on either game. I'll watch them on tv. My play today is

How's this for your C-USA conference game debut? At Dowdy Ficklen Stadium vs ECU on a Thursday NightFAU has a tiny advantage being they got 1 extra day to get ready for ECU. I don't think it will matter that much. Pelini's squad played hard vs Miami but you can tell there is still a long way to go in Boca Raton to get FAU back to being a bowl team. Hell Pelini called for them to spike the ball when time dictated you can't spike the ball

ECU is coming off a shootout with Old Dominion last week 52-38. Shane Carden ECU's qb was 46-54 447 yards and 5 Td's in the victory. Justin Hardy ECU's #1 WR had 16 catches for 191 yards

Now if you're wondering "Packers why only $330?" I'll explain. ECU was great on 3rd down vs ODU going 12-17 however ECU"s D allowed ODU to be 8-14 on 3rd down. Another reason ECU didn't run the ball well. Now when you have a qb like Carden who's hot hey let him chuck it but the Pirates as a team had 22 carries for 34 yards. IF ECU is up 28-31 points tonight they have to be able to run the ball to run the clock out. Also ECU 9 penalties for 85 yards last week. Unacceptable

I'll wrap up with this final reason. i wonder if ECU,Tulane and tulsa due to the fact they're leaving C-USA after this year i wonder if the refs will give them the"Teach them a lesson calls" You know call ticky tack fouls on them etc. Either way ECU is at home Dowdy Ficklen will be rocking Maybe FAU plays them tough but i think ECU wins by 28-31 points tonight

I wouldn't go in too depth with the 1st game stats, obviously East Carolina won and FAU lost and their stats will show that. FAU's D held a strong Miami team to 34 points, If they can do the same against East Carolina they only need 14 to cover. Also with vegas having the total so low makes me think it might be a closer game then people think. I'm taking FAU and the points (lucky to grab it at 21), good luck though and continue with the write ups...They will be helpful throughout the season

1st off to golfing never once since i've joined this site have i made excuses. I will tell you a story that will make a certain fan base mad but it needs to be said. After Paterno got fired at PSU a week or 2 later they played Wisconsin. I joined the site 2-3 weeks before and i said "You do know the refs will make sure PSU doesn't win the game becuase the big 10 can't afford to have them in the 1st big 10 title game" I said refs would ignore fouls on wisconsin and call Penn state for ticky tack fouls

I didn't watch the game but a covers member bumped my thread with the following "Penn State got called for a false start the qb threw the ball on the ground and got a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. I've never seen that before" Now Wisconsin was going to beat PSU either way but don't tell me refs don't try to teach a team a lesson sir or question my character

Alright guys that was a tough loss but it happens to everyone. 0-1 day -$330 4-2 on the season +$1,620. I like Coach Ruffin McNeill been a fan of his for awhile and he sent me an autographed photo but why Carden got pulled i'll never know. Coach Ruffin i love ya but good luck playing that way vs Va.Tech and UNC
