Sloppy offensive line play, an inability to stop the run and no downfield passing game.
Previously seen as one of the best in the ACC and a team good enough to take the next step after last season’s narrow playoff miss, the Seminoles are clearly not as good as advertised.
That’s a concern for a team that will play Memphis, Clemson, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Florida.
Anyway, this highlights with an exclamation point WHY I gave up throwing dice on early season games in ANY sports league. Must see how they play, how the new players and coaches mesh, and their new schemes (if any) as well as how effectively the lines adjust to the team performances ........ and over a few games at least!

I like North Carolina. 1)Minnesota has a running back out and one not 100%. 2) Minnesota's Quarterback in a new offense coming from FCS 3). North Carolina has revamped their defense from last year 4). North Carolina pretty much man-handled Minnesota last year, see the same this year even though using 2 QB system for first game. Of course Tar Heels had the veteran Drake Maye last year and he's a difference maker facing any opponent.
But I like your first 3 points and will watch this one with interest.
Watching the FAU @MSU game...
State is up 16 - 3 and in good position inside the 10 to score and go up 23 - 3 - which would be deserved and reflective of the team performances to that point.
Instead....EZ INT and huge run back....Couple plays later FAU scores on 4th and 1 from the 10 and now it is a just a 6 point game....not reflective of the performances.

He's very athletic, sure, but his passing needs a lot of work...
And then SPARTANS coach makes a bonehead decision on 4th and one from the 10 in easy chipshot FGA range....he foolishly passes up the 2 score lead and gambles with a run up the middle....which of course is stopped in the backfield.
Coulda easily made it a 2 score game with 10 mins left......Instead, on this drive, FAU could take the lead...
