Louisville receiver Caullin Lacy broke his collarbone
during the final scrimmage of fall camp Saturday and
will be out "an extended period of time," the school announced.

Lacy, one of the top players to sign with the Cardinals
through the transfer portal, was expected to be their
No. 1 receiver.
Last season at South Alabama, Lacy had 91 receptions for 1,316 yards

And Louisville must also replace its leading receiver from 2023,
James Thrash, who led the team with 69 catches

Ole Miss defensive lineman Zxavian Harris was arrested Sunday on domestic violence and obstructing arrest charges.

Harris appeared in 11 games last season for the Rebels and recorded 30 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack and three blocked kicks, which ranked second in the FBS. The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Harris had been projected to be in the line rotation this fall.

Six teams are odds-on favorites to make the playoff,
according to ESPN BET:

Ohio State (-650),
Georgia (-600),
Oregon (-300),
Texas (-240),
Penn State (-150) and
Alabama (-105).

I might consider FSU in there too.

Hurricanes might make some noise too!

IRISH may have a decent shot too!

Maybe Clemson has an outside shot too!

 Yes, decent shot if they can get a good replacement for a star left tackle.

Notre Dame is always scrutinized closely but I agree they contend for a playoff spot
