I'm not worried about respect from a bunch of people I'll never meet. I'm worried about making myself money. The half point buy is a recommendation...like buying a car and puting collision on it. It a technique I use very commonly on lines of 2.5, 3...6.5,7... 10. I hardly ever buy more than the hook. Out of 100 play maybe one or two of them I'll buy a full point... If you need to buy multiple points you shouldnt be making the pick flat out

If you are buying a half point regularly for "insurance" - you are laying -120.

If you are laying -120, and you are going 55%, you are a break even gambler - you really arent winning a penny.

Just FYI.  You need to go 55% to win when you are buying .5 point, and you are a LOSING gambler if you are buying that half point on or off the 3, which you say you do.

It provides obvious incentive to turn otherwise good people seedy. That's what it comes down to.

jesus christ dude... I dont buy points on EVERY pick... I'll figure out the numbers for you if youd like but with buys I'm well over 55%. Right now I'd say I'm somewhere near 85-90%... if you dont believe it again go back and track it yourself

You've played sixty games. If you think this represents any sort of significant number, it doesn't. With enough monkeys choosing ATS games over 60 picks, *one of them* is going to hit 80% (without buying points, including hooks).

Lean---- Minnesota.. These two met once this season... It was lopsided and ugly. Vikes dominated. With everything swirling about Farve and Childress I feel like this could be a statement game.
