As a lifelong, die hard, miserable Texas Longhorns fan.. I have never, ever, seen a line so far off.. That goes for football, basketball, and baseball during the CWS. The overreaction, the inflation.. I am almost at a loss for words. First off, for anyone worried about Texas’ depth at RB, lets not forget Sam is an RB himself. Let’s also not forget the scheme we have in place and the personnel we carry with Duvernay motioning in and out of the backfield in jet sweeps and quick screens. The running game is and will not be a problem on Saturday. Also, let’s not forget what Herman did with his 3rd string QB at Ohio St. At a talent standpoint, you keep hearing LSU backers talking about the inexperience on defense.. like i said last week.. ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION. The city of Austin, DKR stadium, is going to be as electric as it’s ever been come Saturday. Anyone who follows me closely knows I do not lay or take points with Texas often, but when I do I hammer and I hammer hard. Thank me later.
Straight Bet(s) Football - 370 Texas +6.5 -110 for Game Risking:1100 to Win:1000

With Herman record as a Dawg, I cant understand how anyone could easily take LSU laying this many points. Ive been waiting and hoping it would hit 7..... but if 6.5 is best i can get I may take it just because

I’m not a fan of trends.. so I never faired much attention to Tommy’s success against Dogs. But his preparation and his ability to adjust during the week is what separates him from most. He’s come out and said he’s confident in his game plan and I couldn’t be anymore confident in have nearly a touchdown in a game i expect to come down to the wire. The only way I see LSU covering here is in overtime, with a TD, and Texas unsuccessfully putting the ball in the EZ to counter. Which is slim within itself

Hard to argue brother. Ed O has ZERO chance of winning the coaching battle.....which is huge in any sport no matter if one side has more talent. Bill Snyder at K St is a perfect example. Put your kids in better position as to succeed.....

That’s why Coach O has the best defensive coordinator in college as well as Joe Brady running the offense now- it seems Coach O has learned his lesson with interfering with his team’s offense- LSU probably has the best set of DB’s in the nation and their D-line and linebackers are just as good- Texas gave up 400 yds to La Tech and I can see LSU getting their share of points against what has been a poor defense since Herman took over- and now they have 8 new starters- talented-yes but still unproven- I’ve been to several Longhorn games and the crowd/stadium isn’t nearly as loud as what LSU is used too- I think the spread is about where it should be- if LSU plays a spy on Sam and makes Texas one dimensional then I see LSU covering - the key will be keeping Sam from making huge plays with his feet- I think it should be a good game and see LSU winning 27-17 or something in that neighborhood- but that’s why they play the game- one of us will be correct- good luck!

Train ,my friend , don't say you weren't warned ! Looks a little fishy catching 6.5 points at home , huh ? It's almost like those fools in Vegas have gone on full tilt . I think there's a 30% chance the Texas QB will be injured , & on the sideline before the game is over . LSU had 22 sets on defense ready to run against Utah St. , & ran one. They very possibly have the best defense in CFB , & a QB who was the SEC player of the week last week. I honestly don't know about covering this big of a #, but I do think LSU will win the game. Just homering up a little. Best of luck on your plays.

The vegas line isnt meant to predict the final score its to make the action come out even---and when it moves its because of the bettors actions

Orgeron's record vs top 10 teams is pretty good
