I'll never understand why so many people on this site have SEC penis envy. smh Bama has won more championships than ANY of the teams most of you are rooting for to beat them so Bama has earned their reputation as well as the SEC. But last I checked Big 10 is ranked #1 in the country right now and just won it all last year, so why people get their panites in a bunch about a conference like they get paid to do so is just disturbing to say the least. I did play Spartans, but I bought a half point up to 10. I still think Alabama is mostly hype (not saying they don't have a great defense cuz they obviously do) because of the over value of the SEC as a whole. I do respect Jimmy and have followed him on occasion and I am certainly ahead on his picks, so this is reason for pause. I will tread lightly because of his opinion. There are many other games to make $ on, but I am on Mich St +10 -120. If I lose, it certainly won't be the first time. Decided to dip my toes into the NCAAB pool last night and took an azz whippin!! Too early to get a read on that! Gonna sit on the sidelines for a while I guess. I hate not having any action! GL

What really good football team has Alabama beaten by 10 points this year? The answer is NONE (unless you consider Georgia or LSU really good football teams). They haven't played a team as good as Michigan St this year. I don't think they can blow out a talented, well coached football team. They are used to feasting on average teams all year!!!!! I will take the points.

He might be better than Coker, but he is not better than all the top QB's in the SEC... Brandon Allen, Dak Prescott, and we shut them all down... MSU has a good rushing defense, but they have no depth, which has been the reason we have beat all our teams late in the game. IF they match up with us then they can contain him for the first half, but as that offensive line and that train Derrick Henry keep hammering them, their lack of depth will be the end of the game for them. Do not underestimate Coker either, he is the leader of the offense and actually had more yards and TD's than Henry in the SECCG... Also, this will not be a lack of respect and looking ahead type thing... This team made a promise they would return this season and win, and I have NEVER been more proud of an Alabama team that has their backs to the wall the entire season and came out on top. MUCH better offensive and defensive teams have tried to stop us and all have failed...

I could have told you that this guy was gonna read this at his 2nd grade reading level, sit back in his chair in his trailer park porch, down a Bud Light, and ignore everything you said and come back at you how Arkansas Florida and Tenn are really great teams but couldn't beat the mighty Bama rushing game or run on Bama, and since Arky, Auburn,Tenn and Florida are better than all the teams in the Big Ten, there's no way MSU can do anything against such a dominant team, because the Big Ten is so weak in comparison.

This is because we have the best defense in the nation and they could be ranked #1 in Total offense and still have no success, but they aren't they are ranked 68th which is horrible in a conference not exactly known for it's defenses... Not saying there aren't some high ranked defenses, but yeah..
Michigan st is ranked 26th in Total Defense... We have faced 25th, 8th, 6th and the 3rd and we destroyed them as well with Derrick Henry and Jake Coker...
The facts are there, and the stats are there... You can chose to base your decision on that or not, but I think it makes it clear that we will win this game fairly easily...

There are 4 bowl games that match SEC teams against Big 10 teams, so the Big 10 will certainly have a chance to make a case. I think they'll lose all 4, but maybe Harbaugh will have some magic up his sleeve to avoid an 0 & 4 bowl-games drubbing, but I kind of doubt it. At least two of those game will be blow outs.

All champion teams have close calls. MSU had the Michigan punter's error that helped them snatch victory from defeat; they had the 9' drive rushing the ball, and converted with seconds left (Iowa is about a notch above Tennessee, and a good step below LSU). They made destiny their own. Alabama had destiny arranged for them, and it was an outside phenomenon that allowed them even the right to play Florida--the wicked 4th and 25 conversion by Arkansas was a gift to Bama. And Bama should also be grateful to the Mich punter and pay off his parents' mortgage, since a loss there, and Bama would have to face OSU again (and we all know what that outcome would be). So Bama did not make their own destiny. Even KSU made their own blunders with lame play calling obvious to all viewers of that game. Bama will always have a top 5 rushing game, and a top 5 defense at stopping the run. That does not translate into an undefeated season, or an automatic advantage. A fan buys into the will of a team and what they wanna do on the field , they blow hard on that fan horn. But this version of Bama does not have the elegant toss and catch of McCarron to Cooper. It's a mediocre pass game. Alabama is looking at a mirror image of themselves. It is Big Ten football that they play. MSU dominated the trenches (won the battle better word than dominate, but it will do), something Alabama linemen could not do. How have they not dominated the trenches when they went up against the best rushing defenses the SEC has to offer and Derrick Henry is leading the nation in rushing?
The OSU and the Iowa games are your best clues. Alabama had zero big game wins. The playoff committee disagrees with you, they said we beat 5 ranked teams with +500 records during the course of the season, hence the fact that we are ranked #2 in the nation (and have been for how many weeks) and MSU is ranked 4th...
Mich St has Oregon, OSO, Mich and Iowa. LSU beat themselves. No, they went up against the best defense in the nation and Derrick Henry and Jake Coker, that is what happened... Everything handed to Bama. Not in this game. No. And I have wagered on Bama and am 4-2 on their games. I have seen many of their games.
Bama has faced teams that are simply better than State... Maybe not ranked as high, but offensively and defensively better... They all got humiliated and so will MSU...
There are 4 bowl games that match SEC teams against Big 10 teams, so the Big 10 will certainly have a chance to make a case. I think they'll lose all 4, but maybe Harbaugh will have some magic up his sleeve to avoid an 0 & 4 bowl-games drubbing, but I kind of doubt it. At least two of those game will be blow outs.

Tappy, the Big Ten is better than the SEC this year. You will scoff at that but it is a fact. It does not mean Sparty will beat Bama but I will be grabbing the points also. The SEC was down this year.
You sir, just stated four facts. But delusions are tough to vanquish. Even after Mich St beats Alabama, the delusions will continue. It's hard to have even an ounce of sympathy for deluded minds.
