Richardson only played 1/2 to 3/4 of each game.

As you can see Richarson only rushed for 4 more plays then Ware. I could do more to show the difference but this about sums it up.

If Saban played Richardson all four qt's in every game he would break every RB's record in SEC's history with TD's...etc.

I forgot to add Ware did have (2) excactly 105yd games this year...

Starkville is 300 miles from Baton Rouge.  Not 80 as previously mentioned.

Oregon scored points after the game was decided.  The first 3 quarters of the game was dominated by the LSU defense.

Calling the LSU defense horrible is a joke.

Comparing Spencer Ware to Richardson is a joke.

Saying LSU will not be effected by the Bama crowd is a joke.

The LSU secondary is no joke either.  It was soft zones and quarters that allowed WVU to rack up those yards.  That was by design.

McCarron will get rattled in this game and make some mistakes.

Lee will get rattled and make some mistakes as well. 

The LSU defense is the fastest in the country.

Alabama is the most physical team in the country.

I would like to also add, this game might be the most highly anticipated regular season game in the modern history of college football.  Rarely, if ever, has the undisputed top 2 teams played each other in the regular season......Sure there are several #1 vs #2 regular season games in years past but we are talking UNDISPUTED #1 and UNDISPUTED #1a 

I really dont think there is a fan with a brain (even those in Norman) that would argue that 2 best teams in college football are playing one another on Nov 5th.  I cant fuckin wait!

Saban don't stack 8 in the box. I have read all you're post talking about this game and since you go to LSU it's understandable you think you have more insight because of the talk on campus.

Alabama has played (27) teams at home since 2008, and only gave up (2) rushing TD's one of them was to LSU but when Miles tried to go for the (2) point conversion LSU failed.

LSU is not going to run over Alabama with Ware or any other RB LSU has.

As far as Lee he is an interception throwing machine waiting to happen thats why his passing stats or not allot because Miles don't trust him, and he would not even be playing if Jefferson would not have gotten benched. Jefferson played so bad last year some LSU fans could not stand him coming into the 2011 football season.

He was questionable to say the least has how much improvement he had thats why LSU brought in someone to work with him, and you're going to brag on him and he has not done nothing this year since being back with LSU to write home about.

Alabama secondary is not Oregon's or WV's ...etc, as you will find out.

I have not seen anybody say Alabama was going to win by 30, what i did see is people saying DD thats understandable.

McCarron has a better passing arm and football knowledge then Lee or Jefferson. This is his 3rd year at Alabama not his 1st.

Saban just has not turned him loose yet. With one year less experince his stats where better then the awsome passer QB Tyler Wilson at Arkansas coming into this year and Arkansas is another team that will beat LSU this year.

Remember how allot of LSU's fans always wished Miles would leave, it will be a repeat after not making to the National Championship again watch...He is a fill in after Saban left LSU and he will never be the coach Nick Saban is even if Saban coached at Kent State again.

I doubt Saban could beat Miles at craps or poker though...

You're best hope is Alabama makes allot of mistakes which is a dream on you're part, other then that don't look for LSU to score much if anything at all, but you can bet you're last dollar Alabama will score and score and score again.

I don't believe Miles by design let WV put up 533 total yds, i watched that game and if WV.....WR's and their QB would have connected better then they did LSU would have lost that game. You do remember the drops the WV....WR had.

Look i don't mean to sound rude, believe me i show respect when respect is giving to me. Stats is the only way either one of us can compare Richardson and Ware. It explains the style of the runners and their speed, physical...etc.

I could say Richardson/ Ware is better then Emmit Smith but there's no proof until one of them breaks all his records you have to look at what they have done on the field this year.

If they were the same or close to being the same they would have the same stats with only 4 more rushing attempts by Richardson.

If you say what about the teams LSU played. But believe me Alabama has played fairly good teams also. Every team plays harder when they play LSU and Alabama because of their past reputations.

Ware just ani't that great maybe next year, but he has not showed anybody this year he should be talked about as an elite RB and he's not going to run over the Alabama defense at home.

LSU's highest rated QB prospect is the previously mentioned Mettenberger who was the 11th ranked pro-style QB in the nation, and the 199th overall prospect in the nation.  Mettenberger was an elite 11 QB, but neither Jordan Jefferson or Jarrett Lee were.

A.J. McCarron & Phillip Sims will both be playing football on Sundays.  None of LSU's QBs have much of a shot of extending their careers beyond their college days.

Although Jarrett Lee should be given all the credit in the world for the great season he's had thus far, he is not, and never will have McCarron's ability.  That said, at this stage of their careers, I would grade the QBs between these two teams even heading into their November 5th showdown.

No i said Florida's defense was fast also....compareing to what he said about LSU's defense was fast. Like Alabama has not played a fast defense this year. I don't understand why people think Alabama's defense is slow do you wheels.

I would put Florida's and LSU's overall team speed (talking about starters now) over Alabam's overall team speed, but not by a lot.  But that's why Alabama's offense will do to LSU's defense what they did to Florida's defense in that they will pummel LSU's small, fast defense.  LSU's defense is simply not built to stop a power running attack, much less the best power running attack in the nation.

Alabama's defense, on the other hand is huge and fast, and huge and fast beats small and fast everytime.  Alabama's defense is built to stone power running attacks like LSU's.  Moreover, they have to face the most powerful running attack in the nation everyday in practice.  What Bama's defense faces in game situations is like a vacation to them compared to what they see in practice on a daily basis.

As I've said repeatedly, this game won't be in doubt in the 4th quarrter.  Expect to see a score very similar to this season's Alabama/Penn State game (another power running team).

They are comparable in that both defenses are small and fast although the Gators have some pretty stout LBers.  LSU's LBers, on the other hand average 218 lbs, and their secondary averages 188 lbs

So how do you think they will fair against Alabama's mammoth and athletic offensive line, Richardson, Lacy and Fowler?  My guess is about the same as Florida's defense did.

I made this exact same point prior the Alabama's national championship game versus Texas.  Despite having the #1 ranked rushing defense in the nation, the Longhorn's small fast defense was gashed for 116 yards by Ingram and 109 yards by Richardson.  Expect similar results in the upcoming LSU game.
