To be honest, I'm wondering why this game is even being played?? Forget it....let's just skip right to the ceremony presentation and award Alabama the trophy right now. I mean Clemson has no chance right? From what I 've read & heard the last (almost 2 weeks), this game is a formality.....Alabama is going to crush em !!
Bama's O-line is going blow up Clemson's front 7
Bama is going to dominate both sides in the trenches
The Bama D is too fast, too stout, too big, too strong
Henry is going to absolutely steamroll through Clemson
Watson can't throw
Watson will carry 15 times and then succumb to injury
Clemson is soft because they play in the ACC
I could go.....on and on and on
oh yeah......heres one more......Saban is the vastly superior coach
I ask you one question. In the last four seasons, every team that Alabama lost to had what in common? I'll tell you what....they ALL played a spread type offense, with a very mobile QB and hurry up tempo. What type of team is Clemson? They love to spread the offense, they have an extremely mobile QB and they love to play up tempo. Nick Saban does NOT like to face these types of squads, they've always posed problems for him......he knows it.
Lets add in the fact that Watson is without a doubt the superior QB on the field today....PLUS Clemson is catching 7 points in what I deem a fair 50/50 fight from the get go.
Now how on earth can you turn that down...how?
Give me Clemson (plus the 7) in a game they are totally capable of winning outright .......having a TD in the bank with this team, in this spot is just too much value to pass up.

Spread Bama out. You don't think saban knows that? You don't think he knew that week 1 this year? He gets it. He lost last year to a better Ohio state team than this years Clemson and what I can bet is that he won't lose because of it again. They have more depth, their safeties aren't as big but they can cover the field and TACKLE and better yet, their d line (all 8 of them that they sub is nasty) won't be tired like last year. He has changed that already. Lets do this: if Watson is neutralized then what? Saban showed last week that even with the beast Henry, they can win through the air. The only way I see Clemson covering is if the refs blow the whistle a lot. Games are won in the trenches. Look at last years championship. Ohio state dominated the line of scrimmage and wore Oregon down. Oregons team was just as good as this years Clemson....I think saban being a smart guy will have that game plan tonite. Look for kiffen to use a lot of play action tonite moving those safeties back and when they have to respect Coker, Henry rules. Go ahead and reverse it though: put 8 in the box like state did last week and we saw what happened. Saban is 94-0 or 94-1 I believe if leading at half so I see Clemson taking a small lead into the half. Go figure huh? From there, the public continues to pound Clemson and boom, Bama pounds em. Could be wrong....but I like Bama by two scores tonite. Saban losing to Meyer last year stung and I feel like he'll want to put his stamp back as best coach in college tonite.

He knows it. He has made the necessary adjustments. You don't get to be the best and stay the best without knowing which way the wind blows my friend. Those thinking we will see a replay of last years championship will be sadly mistaken.
