LOL at all of the idiots and maniacs that comprise the majority of this thread. Scal, I've been following you for years. You're about as solid as one can possibly be on a free forum such as this. How you handle the idiotic comments and trolls on a weekly basis deserves a damn Nobel Prize. That's almost more impressive than your 70% win rate if you ask me.
It's funny to see how emotional everyone gets when one play like this loses. Guys talking about losing their bankroll on this play or going all in. LOL why are you lunatics going all in on these plays? Scal isn't expecting to win every single game. Nobody is. You guys are acting like this is some sort of lottery ticket to bail you out of lord knows what other losses you've gotten into on your own.
If you're looking for a quick fix, this isn't the place. You shouldn't be gambling in the first place if you can't afford to lose a single game. Scal has mentioned this before, but he bets an amount that he's comfortable with, so that no matter if the play wins/loses, he will be able to wake up tomorrow and have the opportunity to cap the next game. It boggles my mind how many guys on here are chasing their behinds off on a weekly basis. Do yourself a favor and STOP GAMBLING if that's the case.
Scal, you obviously don't need anybody backing you up or fighting your battles for you, so I'll end my rant here. You've been just fine in how you've handled yourself for over a decade now. Part of me does wish you would just hop over to Twitter so you could control who is allowed to make comments to you, but I agree, you have much more to say than the amount of characters that app allows.
I was on Arkansas ML in several parlays today, as I am well aware of some of the bad luck you've run into recently with the road chalk. Even still, I couldn't have asked for a much better start than 24-7 at the half. What else do you guys want from this guy? Everyone's acting like you were completely wrong and off on this game. Arkansas simply didn't show up in the 2nd half, Missouri played about as aggressive as you could play with the fake punt off their own 7, and even after all of that, Arkansas still had the ball 1st & goal at the end with a chance to win the game (for us moneyline/parlay bettors).
Since I was only on the moneyline, I hedged at halftime and a 17 point lead because the odds were so high, it was a simple decision. Missouri was +1300 to come back and win the game. Arkansas was -2150 at the half. What more can you ask for at that point? Any of you lunatics could have tried to hedge or go for a decent middle opportunity yourselves, if you were so unsure and convinced that this pick was trash. But why would you? We had a 17 point lead and Missouri hadn't done much on offense, while Arkansas was driving the ball down the field with ease. I don't think many people could have predicted that Arkansas would get shut out in the 2nd half and they would lose outright at that point. It's college football though. Crazy stuff happens. Again, that's why you don't go all in on a single play like this. Scal never said this was a GOY or a MAX bet. Good lord people.
Keep up the good work Scal. I know that you block out the haters and you do this to help those that actually respect what you do and are thankful for it. I'll be on the look out for your next play and will be playing it for the exact same amount as this one.
