As if you need anymore data to support your play...
 
Nate Davis and Ball State will have little trouble throwing against this weak pass DEF and this will open up the running game for the Cardinals. Ball State turns the ball over 1.2 times per game compared to 2.3 to's for Tulsa. Ball State all commits less penalties averaging just 2.7 per game compared to 4.6 for the Golden Hurricane's.
 
Ball State achieved their 12-1 record this season primarily on account of a balanced offense that averages 5.1 yards/rush (#16 nationally) and 9.2 yards/pass (#4). Defensively, the Cardinals struggle to stop the run, allowing 4.3 yards/rush (#84 nationally), but do well at preventing scores and yield only 19 points/game to BCS opponents.

Tulsa makes its fifth bowl appearance in six years with an offense that ranks #1 nationally in yards/play (7.3), yards/pass (10.2), and 3rd down conversion percentage (57.7%). The Golden Hurricane's rack up over 550 yards/game, but their defense has been terrible, allowing 7.9 yards/rush (#105 nationally) and yielding 28.7 points/game to BCS opponents.
 
With the forcasted weather and Tulsa's weak defense I will take the points and the Ball State Cardinals. I will buy the hook and get 3.5 and UNDER 74. Get the UNDER now, before it drops.

There seems to be a lot of love for Ball st....My number 1 Reason for taking this game is Tulsa avereging 550 ypg and the Ball st Defense giving up an average of 350 ypg in the MAC. This is just a Mediocre defense going against a Powerhouse Offense.

Chris Where are you....A Mediocre Defense vs a high powered Offense = $....Throw out all those bogus #'s....You need to remember the conference.......MAC Sucks...
