 Texas's offense isn't as bad as they looked against Nebraska;however Alabama's offense is going to surprise some people because they are going to match Texas play for play and score for score early in this contest.
 
 The third quarter is where the Tides turn. There's only so much Texas's offense will be able to do against the Alabama defense a couple of negative plays such as sacks, turnovers are going to swing the momentum to the Crimson Tide. Then, Alabama is going to do what no other team tried or successfully did against Texas - they are going to line up and road grate them with the tandem running of Ingram and Trent Richardson  Look for a screen pass from the shotgun to one of these guys that results in major yardage . Alabama is going to win and it won't be close Alabama pulls away in the 2nd half..

Always check out your picks man and you know your stuff, just curious what you think abt the line movement with basically 80% of the public on bama and there has been no line movement??

 Thats a shit load of points Estes... I would be estatic if that happed I just dont see Bama getting in the 40's or Texas getting in the 20s... GL and Roll TIde...

I don't like being on the public side. I think you will see alot of Texas money coming in on Thursday. Lets hope the touts are on Texas..

I agree with your side on this game, but in order to get that number over 45, Bama will need to do most of the heavy lifting because I think points will be very hard to come by for Texas.  I can promise you one thing, Texas won't get anywhere near 26 points.

You think it will be that much of a swing?? I am waiting for it to hit 3 and wish my books had something that let me input the number and amount I wanted and if it hit that bet it so I would not have to keep checking..

I was never impressed with Texas' offense this year.  Colorado and Wyoming games come into mind.  Theyre just not that good, plain and simple.  Florida would wax Texas, not that it has anything to do with this game, just saying.

I used to think that you were a decent capper, but 67 pts? Not gunna happen!

This is not Central Mich VS Troy, it's ALABAMA VS.TEXAS!

This total goes under 47 points(local book)!

If I'm wrong, I gurantee that the total is closer to 50 than the almost 70 pts that you predict!

I would be very surprised if this was not the same type of game that Bama had vs. LSU, Ole Miss, Tenn. and in the other respect that Texas has had against Neb and Oklahoma.

Look at the Boise/TCU game. The defense always prevails when teams come in with strong offenses AND exceptional defense.
