Alabama is the bet! Everyone that thinks alabama blew their emotional wad in the Florida game will be proven wrong.  The let down game only applies when a team either loses the emotional game in question, or they go to a bowl they deem dissapointing. Neither apply here. If you think Alabama is going to come in flat with the National Championship within their grasp, then you are either a Texas fan or are simply reaching!

Texas isn't going to be able to run the ball on Alabama.  I have to believe that Saban will double Shipley and rush heavy to rattle McCoy.  Several other receivers are going to have to step up for Texas to be able to score. Texas only hope, IMO, is a meltdown from McElroy.

man, is this just deja vu all over again?  this is a carbon copy of last year... best SEC team vs. best Big 12 team... looks easy, is easy, but virtually everyone on Covers thinks they are being "sharp" by going with the reverse line movement and jumping on the clearly weaker team...

meanwhile, virtually all of the truly elite and highly respected cappers on this site are all on the right side...

i made a thread last year to show who the top cappers were on, and it was about an 8 to 1 ratio in favor of Florida, but the rest of Covers was all over OU... this year it looks exactly the same... i keep wondering if i'm missing something, but virtually every truly sharp capper on this site is all over Bama, while all of the sheep are asking themselves about the line movement, and thinking they are sharp by taking the points...

No line movement?..What are you talking about?....The line opened at -6 and has since dropped down to -4 and has also reached a low of -3 for Alabama...This is reason enough to take Texas for me...I already locked and loaded on Texas + 5.5 and Over 45 a couple weeks back...Good Luck with Alabama as Texas will be surfing on the TIDE...

i'm about 100% certain that if you had waited until just before gametime you would be able to get that at (+6)...

by the time this game starts the line will be exactly where it started...

With all the power of the Tide not even sure why Texas would even show up I bet they are so scared to death. I am sure that Texas will be over the fright by game time and play the mighty Tide and keep it decent and Mac wont let them run the score up to bed on Alabama.
