And to say “The BCS championship will decide which conference is better” is like saying “whoever scores the most points in the 4th quarter wins the game” when one team is up 42-17 after 3 quarters.

The Big 12 is a good conference but they have a long way to go to prove they are as good as the SEC.  OU beating Florida would help the Big 12 get closer to that goal, but it wouldn’t prove the Big 12 is better.  However, Florida beating OU helps solidify SEC superiority.

In all seriousness though I think it is a little premature to claim one conference better than another solely based on the result of one game.  Or based on the whole bowl season for that matter.

One game is not much of a sample size.

Texas Tech played 12 regular season games.  Texas Tech is in the Big 12.  Its not that complicated of a concept I promise.

As for your 4 teams in the top 15: 2 of them have already played their bowl games.  Both teams opened as favorites and both teams lost SU by DD.  Not exactly something to brag about.

And any knowledgeable college football knows the SEC is better than the big 12.  You can keep ignoring the facts and pretend that isn’t the case and that’s fine.  Just don’t expect the rest of us to drink to kool-aid with you.

Yeah Bama is losing to Utah right now.  However, I think Bama probably will come back to win.  I don’t think they’ll cover though.

But even IF Bama does lose, it will be the #4 team losing to the #6 team on a neutral field.  Not nearly as bad as the #7 team, playing in their own state, losing to the #25 team by DD.

Wake up dude, if UF wins the SEC will have back to back to back National Titles.  That’s happened twice before in history.  Once by the SEC and once by the now Big-10 (none by the Big-12  ).  When a conference is in a position to do that, it shouldn’t be difficult to see how they have been the best conference…. unless of course you are in denial   (which I think might be the case here).

you must have forgot the Huskers 70 and 71 champs, and then 94 and 95 champs.....selective memory I am guessing? 

Please explain to me how winning the national championship in 70, 71, 94, and 95 equates to 3 national titles in a row for a conference.
