That's good but what does the versatility of Virginia Tech's run game have to do with a game between Virginia and Boise State?

I'll probably take the 'hoos first half.  This team is different than years past in their self-belief and in their hunger-- that will show in the first half.  However, I am still not convinced that they have what it takes to compete for 4 quarters.  Either way, BOL to you.

Line seems fishy to most, but I think its very sharp. BSUs running game isnt all that. They havent been all that impressive including the Idaho State game which i had the unfortunate pleasure of watching in its entirety. The UVA run defense is more than likely gonna have success in slowing down the Boise run game enough to put themselves in a position to win the game. At night, home dog, sandwich game...these are the type of games that Vegas was built on. No play or UVA is the only logical play from a bettors standpoint.

Not sure how you are defining sandwich game here. UVA has PITT on deck in two weeks and Boise State plays an avg Hawaii team on the blue turf next week. I'll fill you in though. Essentially one of the biggest games on a team schedule is never a sandwich game.

To your next point.... Vegas was not built on sports betting income as it accounts for less than 1% of revenue generated in a casino.

next, Boise run game may not be "all that" as you suggest but its still a whole hell of a lot better than Virginias. The yards on the ground Virginia avg's per game  is only 40 yards lower than the ENTIRE number of yards allowed by Boise's run defense on the entire season. Can you make such a statement about that for Virginia by using the same statement but instead reversing the team names?

Next, how did Boises run game not impress you against Idaho State? They gashed them for 344 yards on the ground in that game. It was effortless. What else could you have asked for that would impress you?

So that pretty much leaves you with the last part of the sentence where you say its a home dog at night so UVA must be the logical play from a bettors standpoint....

That was last year....their squad this year is very mediocre. With all the stats you just threw out there shouldn't Boise be favored by a lot more? Think about it... The line doesn't make sense. Virginia at hohome is tough!

When the QB performance and ability is a huge unknown why is anyone even playing this game?

Capping is hard enough when 90% of the key factors can be assessed. Here you probably have 25%. Really one to stay away from....

Hopefully I can add something here. Live in Va and have seen all three UVA games. UCLA freshman QB tore it up against UVA. His last two games...not so much, very poor outings. I was at the ND game. Time of Pos 1st qtr ND 12 min  UVA 3. The rest of the game ND only had the ball 14 minutes TOTAL, ND was very flat. UVA QB grew up that game on a bad beat. After two tough games against big time teams UVA did not want to be there Against W&M. You never know what UVA team will show up. for me its a no bet or little on the under.
