I only had Pitt on a few small MLP's . I don't like laying DD's in Bowl games, I was suprised how easily EMU ran the ball on the middle of Pitt's defense. I did not expect that.
Get em on the next one Boom . GL

Oklahoma and LSU IMO.... Will be a great game. LSU pound for pound is the better team no question.... But when I look at this game I see a game where the disrespect is so enormous that it's almost hard to comprehend.
LSU has sat for 3 weeks hearing they're the best team ever to play football and everyone else shouldn't show up....and Oklahoma has sat for 3 weeks hearing how they can't compete and LSU players/fans are arrogantly laughing at them. This is a mistake.... Motivation is a HELLLL of a thing.
Keep this in mind.... Oklahoma has been here in this format several times, yes they've lost... But they have been there. They understand the process. LSU has never been to the playoffs...and trust me when I tell you that it DOES matter.
If LSU protects the ball they're going to be hard to beat... But Oklahoma and Jalen Hurts are dangerous... they have the ability to run clock and run the ball down LSU's throat... All this talk about LSU having a great defense is nonsense... They played a depleted Georgia offense and a Texas AM team who basically gave up after the f'kning the refs gave them when the played Georgia... BTW, that's a whole different topic, but that was the worst officiated game I've seen in many years... I'm fully confident the SEC made the call on that game and protected Georgia.
Clemson and Ohio st is a heavy weight championship type of game... Both teams are tremendous. As a Clemson man I can tell you this Ohio st team is flat out scary....
This game is going to come down to 2 things.... Can Ohio st stop Tee Higgins and Justin Ross? Can Clemson stop JK Dobbins? I think those are the 2 biggest keys to this game.
Both teams are very equal as far as talent goes.... But Clemson has some edges in this game.... Trevor is unbelievable and can beat you with his legs as well... keep that in mind when watching this game. Clemson also has WR's who can't be guarded IMO... Those guys are freaks and IF Ohio st decides to double both guys ET will kill this Ohio st defense.
Chase Young is a problem.... you have to double this guy. I suspect Clemson will double him on passing downs and chip him on running downs.
Justin Fields is a great athlete. Brent Venables is better... this is not a swipe at Fields... This is more of a Venables is the best in the business. He will send looks that will confuse Fields and make him think/make mistakes.
All in all I would be surprised if this game was a run a way... I think it's going to be a 4 quarter WAR... Clemson just has a few more answers then Ohio st in the end and should be a great game.

I haven’t seen where anyone has said LSU has a great defense- it’s been their weak spot all year but they did look better during the last few games...against weak offenses. Oklahoma scares me because they can and will score some points- Edwards being out is huge for LSU- he does everything well including blocking..+14 is huge and the right play. I smell a 38-34 type game here. Leaning big on Clemson as I just dont think Fields is as good as his numbers. Contain him and he can’t win with his arm but that’s easier said than done.

Yeahhh... As a GA fan, I saw the result coming. Maybe not as bad as it was but some turnovers contributed to that. LSU had the perfect plan and personnel to beat UGA this year. Lock down corners so you can crowd the box and force Fromm to beat you. And Jake Fromm proved he can't do that. Everyone had kinda hoped the running game and defense would be enough, but this season proved we couldn't just replace everything we lost in regard to the receivers. Lost our best returning receiver to dismissal (Holloman) and 4 more to the NFL (Hardman, Ridley, Wims, Nauta).
As is UGA tradition: "We'll get 'em next year!"

This is the 'lightest' I have seen you post for Clemson Boom!
I think I am going to play this in-game. Not gonna lie.....I saw Buckeyes stardust in my eyes most of the season and was looking to doubt them and think the Wisky game actually gave them their GULP moment which, usually has come in this first game of the playoff.
Why is no one discussing OSU revenge from 2016? I actually think , the Buckeyes are going to be the more fired up team here as they are dissed by Vegas and the public with the -1 line (in their minds, not mine) and almost every prognosticator has had them losing this game.
Tell me, when was the last time Clemson was made favourite in a big game that could be considered the championship like this one....?
They have won as an underdog and that has been their sauce + the talent and coaching mojo that they obviously have above most.
I smell an upset here but I have laid a winning margin bet on both sides as the talent disparity is so close and therefore, if one team gets ahead, I think the other can climb back unless there is some major bad luck.
I am leaning now to fade LSU +14......you make great sense there.
Thanks for your thoughts and enjoy the game!
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

Big Head, little results over the years. Lets face it, not many people will give them self their own introduction into a regular season and come out 0 & 7 during week one.

I always read boom post. Hes a really good caper but goes out of his way to disrespect the sec. His bias gets in the way of him being great. He knows LSU is awesome but refuses to admit it

Exactly- he hates the SEC and will start bitching about how trolls are in his thread. The ACC was complete garbage this year and while Clemson has a great program, they are the ones getting trucked tonight. Still early but Dobbins is killing them. I bet Clemson but have now live bet OSU at -4.5, 5.5, and 6.5. Maybe this will turn around and be a good game but it’s not looking good.
