MARYLAND +16.5  ....Michigan won on the road last year in the 2nd last game of the season by 42 !   WHATS UP WITH THIS LINE THEN?? Their QB is in sick bay and their run defense has been ho hum at times vs boring competition but can they crank this up 2 levels and now win by 3 TDs instead of 6 at home now??? Is this a homecoming weekend?? If so, I may be looking at Wolverines here .... I am gonna give this a couple of days of digging, maybe more 

Your write-up makes sense but... I don't know on this one...I really want to watch this game. Every year when Harbaugh pitches slow ball for 3-4 games, then they throw 100 mph game at the knees for a strike!

Might move the other way didn't hit it huge .. but man that's a HUUUUGE number to lay against a steady improver .. I get Mich is still STUDLY DUDLY and this is usually when MD just gets throttled 52-3 but I'd lean toward taking points here and played small hope we get another shot at 17.5 or hey maybe a BP we see 20 .. Would ask if after 3 games we really realllllllly know anything for sure about Michigan that puts them into a 3 score fav range against I think we can say a proven offense w a buttload of good receiving targets vs at least scrappy level D .. not saying our punch lands but I think we're not making a bad read here .. think we got a lotta room to be wrong at this number ..

Michigan opened at Circa -20 vs Maryland. Line dropped to -17.

Michigan Homecoming game. Last year Wolv homecoming game saw Rutgers stay within 7 as a +20 dog. No advantage for Mich here other than " Don't forget what happened last year boys".

Four meetings for these two last 5 years. Michigan covered every game ranging from -15 to -21. 

McCarthy healthy and starter. McNamara out a couple of weeks, looks to me as high ankle sprain. They're not saying.

Michigan really unproven, have not played a complete game nor faced real competition. Flip side, starters are fresh. Special teams look good again.

Maryland sloppy and undisciplined. Last game 15 penalties for 141 yards. SMU had 30 first downs to Terps 16. Terp defense suspect, IMO. SMU ran 96 plays to Maryland's 59.

Tagovailoa 81.5% completion rate last two games after subpar start vs Buff.  Michigan #1 in opponent passer rating but look who they have played. 

F'ng Utah . You killed it last week man and beware of other fake usernames Bridge and didn't miss much this weekend either thanks to God always.

Have a feeling you're going to kill rest of year and will always check out you Train, Wahoo, Maine, TD21, Blowout Gem, Funky, Nos, and Duck in college ball. Cream of the crop there...

Yeah I mean this is def the spot where "LOCKS"LY turns into "DUDS"LY .. sans covid year I guess but this ain't yer covid michigan squad obviously .. gulp lol .. yeah I just think its a huge line and about what we got in 2020 when we were still very much assuming Michigan was fairly strong and MD was the usual dud .... and MD was simply just emerging .. 20 point upset .. so sure they could get run over here and Mich up 14 late maybe hits the gas and holds em off ... just not sold on MD not being able to hang around .. CO.State sack fest ran them over .. well every team has done that to them so far .. Mid T and Wash State .. Vandy beat Hawaii pretty good .. Cuse throttled Uconn .. Conn mighta really conn'd us w their Utah State game, aggies lose 35-7 to Weber like im sure Weber is good as always but holy crap ..... I have SMU a bit stronger this year maybe really strong AAC team .. sure looked like they were in command but MD's D made some stops to give em a shot late then they buckled down and won .. all w 15 penalties and 140 yard bowling ball weighting them down in every way and SMU pretty good run game in my mind wasn't quite thrashin n gashin .. did thru the air but not on a limb saying SMU pass is 100,00,0,00,0x more safe and effective than Michigans is ... so idk we'll see taking points and hit the total over feel pretty good about both .. and think we had a few commenteeeers in here reminding me how UCLA will win by 30 even w out DTR or Charbonnet .. so man was I like really reallly worried when they were both in the game, was thinking about hedging out and dropping my 401k on the Bruins but didn't have time to go to the bank ... man im so glad they closed early on saturday!!!!  .. so guess I gots money to burn this week can blow it all trying to pull another rabbit out of the hat on a dumb pick again... GO TERPS!!!

Jumped the gun a little early on a few of these but also grabbed a few aces before they moved across some key geography .. *Should note that I didn't mean to mark UNC as a BP this shoulda been smaller but in a haste to post yeah made it look like a BP clearly .. I got maybe at most half of what the BP's get on this one but it sure looks like I called it that way so what the heck let's own our mistakes and let it ride think its the right side. We'll see bud yeah let me know what you find .. think its tough to draw comparisons maybe only thing I can say for sure is Terps are better this year overall by some unkown measure and Mich has played the weakest SoS of anyone discounting maybe some played FCS teams but otherwise think easily #131 .. so not a ton of sure things to point to trusting my pre-ssn reads and the known things and that leaves ALOT of room for me to be be wrong but maybe some room to be right too ..

Hey buddy bud, yeah you can't take these guys to the house on these pre-circa lines too hard but think the limit is within most folks' 'bigger' wager wheelhouse but no you can't drop multiple dimes on the early stuff .. and yeah sooner or later even the big boys drop the limit hammer down I used to do early lines at DK all last year never had a problem didn't even sign up for FD and boom limited this year like hundo or so on gameday maybe $30 on the early stuff just nothing worth even looking at  .. same for ugly twins barstool and betrivers limited quick w them, BR doesn't even let me hit parlays on em anymore, like $2 .. just pathetic .. hoping I get a full year of fun outta Fan Duel, we'll see .. 

Syracuse is my favorite bet on the board. Well done last week.

Could be a few injuries even had Schafer knocked out the game for a few mins there but there's a list of guys dinged up so yeah think they roll for sure if healthy .. just UVA man woah I suppose the pass game could come to life but fine laying points against them looked like crap so far ..

SOUTHERN MISS +13.5

Was hoping we'd get a 14 out there but lines came out in the 12's region and just had the one spot at FD (again) trying to get their idiot customers to bet on Tulane after a big win .. Not saying it won't get there if it does I got another dose to drop one em but I can see this dropping closer to 10 by kickoff .. got a look at that K-State game and Wildcats came out playing ho-humm Lamecat offense... got good % completions, yards per carry okay but just nothing big downfield everything long drive trying to slug it out and just too many critical moments they choked on 3rd downs didn't make plays .. saw A-Mart just staring at an open WR's for an easy 5 yd TD, instead just throws it away and was whiffing passes everywhere the guy sucks .. K-State D was solid and if not for Pratt gashing them big on a couple plays scrambling this is more likely a 17-3 win for for K-State .. we know Tulane is not bad but this W likely makes them a bit overrated and I'd say a bad spot now off a huge slug fest W on the road and this game was hotttt lotta guys cramping in that one including K-States RB who was out for a critical late part of the game .. now back home and greeted by an absolutely huge and very underrated rivalry and there is no doubt S.Miss is bringing their best game to New Orleans this year .. coach the ex-tulane OC is not lost on how big this game is even if these teams don't play consistently anymore .. 

Tough to gauge S.Miss we had a slug-fest turned shootout w Liberty and had them playing well on D vs Miami for a half and kicked the crap outta NW State .. we have 2 QB's in Keyes who is capable but out vs Miami and Wilkie actually decent numbers all things considered so far and for sure have an Ace RB in Gore who can run catch or play wildcat, couple WR's can actually catch the ball downfield .. Defense was the thing to get excited about and yeah giving up the big score vs Lib and Miami in H2 isin't impressive but the D havoc has been solid lotta TFL's and sacks even had 4 sacks vs the canes so they can def get in there and cause trouble .. that's huge here get pressure on pratt he's not good passing outside the pocket often sails em, got 2 picked last game and kinda makes sense he often ends up scrambling .. S.Miss knows whats good for them they'll have a good spy to track him down ..

I get why Tulane is favored but between the ugly tough spot for Tulane and the rivarly angle, both with big conf games on deck, S.Miss w really easy lead, idk feels like maybe Wave should be a TD maybe 7.5?... doesn't at all feel like you give S.Miss nearly 2 TD head start here unless were sure they're offense is showing up just totally inept idk think if they can at least fly w Liberty we can feel comfortable here and Lib's D is really not bad and had a beat on them until Salter came in late in that one .. they win the TO battle and limit Pratt on the ground then its the Wave who gets washed out in this one .. def finding its way into a ML parlay somewhere too ..

Hit this out the gate small at 12 unsure where it was moving to hoping to give a BP at 14 .. well someone had other ideas got popped down 3 points all of a sudden .. I still like this over a TD, E.Mich nearly spoiled this spot for me last week looked like they were on their way to a win until unreal last quarter or so think ULL got like 5 TD's in pretty short span .. then all we needed to do was beat Rice just by something cover 11 would be great but no they lose and instead of dropping a NUKE at 17-20 we get 12 and drops to 9 .. yeah I suspected ULL wasn't their old selves and sure seems like that now .. ULM getting points because obvi they weren't all that good LY but also get samiched between UT/BAMA and ironic scheduler made ULM the bread in that big game sammich .. yeah UT rock'd em bama had saban mad and they rock'd em worse .. I can't say this team is actually good but this is another underrated big rivalry and ULM has shown up pretty well over the last few years even as ULL has taken off to the tops of the conference Monroe has played em tough I think every year including LY when ULL went 13-1 w their 1 loss to UT in the opener .. EPIC YEAR .. Monroe lost 21-16 LY got rocked bad in covid year understandably but hung tough 1 and 3 point losses before then and did beat them 56-50 in 2017 .. 

What's to like on ULM is maybe just one thing, Chandler Rodgers is a legit good QB and engineered some MONSTER upsets for them LY .. Rodriguez put in his son Rhett Rod early in the year gets his lung punctured after some brutal losses, in comes the real QB for some big wins and Rhett Rod back out there losing after his hospital stay .. obvi only reason we get Rich Rod is to play his loser son but that's over with now .. I can't say at all what the team around Rodgers is or isint but we know already ULL isin't some total bad ass and huge home rivalry getting 9 points so gotta play it .. Can't go HAM on +9 was hoping for a +20 here .. but beyond the spread this one def in a ML parlay because there is untold amounts of variability here where we only know one team isint anything special and can't say at all what the other has just trust Warhawks have a decent QB and almost for sure the best QB in this game maybe by a decent margin .. so yeah this one and S.MISS def in that UDML ... should be retired down in Miami by now if a few of those absolute MONSTER ML upset parlays I had runnin last week came thru .. Troy, Liberty, So.Bama, ODU, S.Fla, Cal .. pretty much one play away each, some exactly one play .. couple of those paired up w BG man doubt you'd hear much from me this week .. see if we can catch em this time .. fingers xx'd .. 

I like the Tennessee at -7 . I’ve watched them quite a bit the last few games . It doesn’t take Hooker long to get a big pass down the field they have a exciting offense this year . Good luck this weekend !

SOUTH ALABAMA / LA TECH OVER 57.5

Circa says 54.5 which I think is insane but that was totally ungettable for us non-high frequency bettors w the ethernet line hooked right into their servers .. line quickly jumped to 59 and as some of these do came back down a little .. and that's where im taking this one even if there is some theoretical value lost I don't think it matters much .. La Tech has a legit QB in Parker McNeil the T-Tech xfer and he can get that ball on the spot down field fast and the team plays pretty quick opting to pass more early on .. their run game been stuffed big by Mizz and Clemson but McNeill came in late vs Mizz and had a couple nice throws quick TD's and I thought did fairly well at least early on vs Clemson .. again absolutely no run support in either which does make sense but even w out they were able to do something in each game .. RB's pretty much owned their FCS matchup ran for 300 yds so somewhere in between 0 and 300 yds is what i think they get helped out w in this one .. Tech's D has been close to awful any sorta passing gets down there and giving up like 6/7 y/carry vs tough competition but if there was a D they wouldn't get totally run over in either game .. 

Well now everyone knows why I bet S.Bama last week and feel free to remind me what you liked about UCLA lol .. this offense is awesome high success rate running and passing they just have a scheme that can rip it .. I know their D is fairly sound and gave CMU tons of fits early on in that one .. also they don't dick around much waiting to snap the ball for all the running they're up to the line quick drives under 30 sec / play which in actual game count time that's not slow esp on longer drives 2 play/min is moving fairly brisk .. 

I kinda expect S.Bama to take the lead at some point maybe they cover this total maybe not but even if up a few scores La Tech's offensive quickness can put them in the game quick or at least allow them to go tit for tat w the scoring .. I really wanted to hit LA-Tech w the +14 it may get there but I think we're getting a better deal on the total .. S.Bama has no incentive to stop scoring vs a dangerous offense .. esp when they just couldn't sock such a monster sure thing win they had in hand locked up dominated all game lol .. man you can imagine coach might be thinking we're not gunna F around this time letting these F'ers creep back in.. expecting full throttle even late into the game .. we'll see .. Let's just say if LA-Tech hangs tough in this one I don't see how its not a barn burner so could try some fun bet LA-Tech + points / Over combo or pop it ML/OVER for about 8.5-1 .. I already took a bite of that ..

WASH STATE ML/OVER 56 .. possible if they really get pressure on Nix it could go the way of wisco but holy crap that was not Wisco's offense last week BYU was playing lol .. and finally got Ward dazzling vs Colorado state .. could be smoke n mirrors since the Rams do stink but he had the stuff goin finally .. also did seem like BYU was able to get a few things going but at Autzen some drives crapped out .. I like this one and low total because of the rough start on O w Wisco / Idaho .. if last week was week 1 this total is a monster and everyone's all over it .. 

ARK STATE ML/OVER 57 .. again just seems like the only way this defense is about as putrid as last year but this offense can maybe hang in a few games this year .. hopefully some actual scoring gets ODU off their asses not to mention playing a crappy defense they should be able to move on .. maybe lol .. 

UL MONROE ML/OVER 51 .. secondary is trash but think we trust chandler rodgers to put the heat on ULL to do some scoring .. think we're getting a deal after UL's just terrible few games but yeah think unless UL is totally inept this year no way they're not putting 25 up here and Rodgers should be rippin em .. 

MARYLAND ML/OVER 62 .. only possible way it happens, right mich fans ? ..

Just here to chime in on the old ASU football program.

RIP to the Herm Edwards era. the man who plays to win the game was stuck in 1970's football with no propensity for analytics/new thinking and his tenure will be mired with getting his hand caught in the cookie jar on old crootin' in an era where it is the most difficult to do so. 

don't get me wrong, he injected some fun and energy into the program right away with some positive results. His era goes down with more success than all of the cool meme pundits who thought an old broadcasting figurehead would be some mega-implosion right away, many thought this. But in the end he goes down with the same warts that plagued his NFL career... Lack of discipline and conservative drek. In honesty this was always the most likely outcome.

And while many will put all the crootin scandal on Herm, and put the crootin scandal as the main reason for the exodus and downfall that was seen, it's deeper, it's much deeper. the leadership here was as behind as any program on utilizing NIL, something that pushed players out as much as the scandal and looming sanctions. they were caught with their pants down when the SoCal schools took midwest money. they hired Herm and supported our Ad saying we have a pro model, a pro standard, and will see pro results. It's a joke here, toxic sludge. 1/10 chance they hire some young maverick who injects some life and smart football but I believe no one can overcome the level of toxicity from the top. And the incompetent Athletic director is apparently getting another crack at a hire after the failure of his old pal Herm. Sheesh. Some cycles just continue.

Yeah dude and really the straw that stirs the drink is Tenn's outstanding run game we all know Hook Da Crook can slang dat rock but man that run game is so solid makes them incredibly dangerous shortens that field up and sooner or later boom dude's launchin one down field .. fun to watch hope it pans out .. I'll be surprised if it doesn't

Thx bud you too ... takin a page out of yer playbook from last week on the Akron total .. totally agreed w what you were doing there and man zips are beyond pathetic .. idk Liberty should roll but they are not running the ship at ludicrous speed and their D is not the greatest Akron should burn some time on their drives but not doubt they give up anything real big either .. off a monster game got this muscle relaxer before really a battle of the little VA teams vs Old Dom kindof a big deal for those squads .. so yeah could tank here but idk think it should be 50ish .. obvi high degree of variability but yeah I could just see it top out like 35-7, just not barn burner .. anyway we'll see .. good luck this week bud.
