We got UMASS at a PK at the opener so went BP on it its a huuuuuge home game for Mass and felt decently good about them getting taisoon Phommamammachan back this week and assuming we would the line should move .. didn't expect 3.5 here but we know the spot is VERY VERY favorable for Mass here between the big home spot and NM long travel off a HUUUGE rivalry game w NMSU and then go into conference w B2B roadies into Wyoming .. That is NASSSSTAYYYY .. I'd expect NM could realllly try to manage their workload here and could turn into an easy win for Mass .. but other part of me knows exactly what Gonzales is thinking here .. this is a very winnable game and the team has won a handful of games and even fewer FBS games over the years and the way one MUST approach this season is win the ones that are available and play well at home, win NMSU rivalry and build some momentum in the program .. well they won the FCS game, lost the big rivalry and yeah they need to land some wins now which I'm fairly sure they won't be doing next week .. NM also has the one thing they haven't had in ages a QB who can throw and complete passes .. Idk how good Drones is but they have lit it up in a few games more than the last few seasons, maybe combined lol .. I also did get a look at MASS playing EMU and didn't realllly love what I was looking at, EMU might also be in a bad spot when you see them catching a TD at J-STATE this week .. End of the day I have no problem putting .4 of the unit play on the other side .. we're projecting rain and have the other unknown variables the needs to win for both teams and NM's new QB success .. like almost seems like a big SP TEAMS play or maybe more likely a big SP TEAMS BLUNDER .. I'll take the value we have and hope for a 3 pt win for MASS.... GO MINUTEMEN!!! ..
