Easy. You do to WV what Illinois did to the Buckeyes and that is you dominate time of possession and have zero turnovers. Ohio State had the ball in the 4th quarter for all of one minute. So, you learn from that and try and duplicate it. How does WV score 50 points when they only have the ball for 20 minutes? Slow and mythodical drives should slow the pace. Winning pretty is for the illogical betting public, Winning (at all) is what matters.
It will be funny to see all the money pouring in on West Virginia if they play OSU in the big one because when you live in the past you are doomed to repeat it. And by repeat I mean bet the wrong side heavily and lose all your money.
I can easily see reverse line movements all week on that game as bait.
OSU played 12 games this season - they start early and didn't have a bye week. Can't play a conference title game 'cause they are one team short. Plus, having the season end early gives the players too much down time - see the late championship game for that. Bet it would have been different if they played a few weeks earlier.
