+6 is a pretty big line in the rivalry but Utah's D line might be the best in the country. There's like 6 NFL players on the D line and it goes 11 deep.

Just... Stop
Clemson just replaced their entire D-line and I would still put it above Utah.

Ill take that bet DAWG. Leki Fotu and Bradley Anae are 1st or 2nd round NFL projections. Tupai and Assini are all PAC 12 projections and VERY productive. The coaching staff is top notch and has been for a while. Inexperienced O-lines are gonna be worked by this group. Its all objective at this point but Ill take this group from Utah over anyone. Ive been to a couple of open practices this last couple of weeks and these guys are creating HAVOC! They are big fast and mean. More than a few scuffles broke out on the field. These guys are ready!

Reverse line movement down to Utah -4.5...If you look at steel's power ratings considering BYU homefield, the line should be 2 (6.5 delta less 4.5 Home Field). LE Stadium will be rocking, but I don't think BYU has the horses to keep up with Top 10 Utah. Utah has won 8 in a row, and I think they have a big advantage in coaching and Defense...I will be on Utah at hopefully -4.5 or less. I think Utah will win by 10+...

Just one man's opinion and a benchmark, BA...but, thanks for the links to the others...I think Texas is going to contra all of his doubters (including me) who were burned by their Maryland debacles in week 1 against La Tech by blowing them out, and then get soundly defeated by LSU at home in week 2, which should remind Texas that they are not quite ready for the big time yet...Did you see Texas got a 5 star RB commit today out of Arizona for I believe the 2020 class, TODAY. Things are looking up. Hook em'

Utah was also playing with a backup quarterback and a backup RB and significant injuries on the Defensive side of the ball...Utah will be at full speed in good health with a superior coach and all offseason and camp to prepare for this game. Utah is a Top 15 team. Utah has won 8 in a row. Eventually, BYU will defeat Utah, but I don't believe that it will be this season, on the merits.

Sorry for the absence guys.
My soucell knows everything in Utah. He's 10-2 for me last year ATS....and believes Utah may be a bit overrated this early...and more importantly, sees BYU (and their 26 year old laden, multiple-wifing roster) as MUCH better than projected. Ok, ok, forget the 26 yo + bigamy stuff.
Seriously, he knows his stuff - he was creaming his jhorts about Utah St. this time last year .
As always, buyer beware. I think the line is 4 at KO

Im agreeing with Irish's source..."this early". The Utes always play dull and tight the first game. They usually schedule a can for the first game. This yr they get the "holy war" right off the bat. Utahs going to be a very tough team this yr but... the first game giving up almost a touch on the road is something even a diehard fan like myself wont do. I might nibble a bit on the moneyline for Utah but thats it. BYU always scrappy at home. Better games on the docket IMO.
