personally i would be kind of bored of seeing another Clemson/Alabama title game but then again Alabama/Notre Dame could probably be a runaway so.. Clemson/Alabama still seems like the ideal matchup.

Well, the guy replacing him actually splits snaps with Lawrence about 50/50 the entire game and is also a stud so... I wouldn’t worry much. Taking the better defense and better running game with probably a better QB with NFL arm talent. Clemson pulls away mid third-early fourth qtr. if they establish a running game at all, it could get ugly bc that will just allow Trevor to absolutely thrash the secondary.

Dexter Lawrence will be shown to not be a factor. His backup would start at any of the 4 teams in the playoffs...The term "We too deep" applies here...also, there is the motivation factor Dabo will put on the team...lets win this for big Dex! Clemson -11

The spread sits at 12 and almost 7 out of 10 are feasting on it. Here’s my question: if ND is unable to run the ball, what are their chances? Answer: 0% to keep this thing close. I like Book. He’s a good qb but does ND have enough play makers on offense to make Veneble worry about how he calls his plays on defense? I’m not so sure folks. If ND takes care of the ball and their special teams is on, they have a shot but with every talking head lining up on ND and the public pounding ND, I will wait. A first half or second half play may suffice here. I will say this: at first glance, to many (not me) will say that 12 is too many.....All year I’ve watched this ND team play and I’m not impressed one bit. I’m just not. They haven’t played anybody other than Michigan and for three quarters they were outplayed in that one. Syracuse? They weren’t world beaters. Yes, ND beat who was in front of them and that’s all you can do but Clemson.....they are different animal. To be in the top 3 for both defensive and offensive efficiency? That’s impressive and when you throw in Dabo and his coaching staff who have been there before, ND better not take one play off.
