Week 1 is tough to come out on the plus side. Congrats to all that did. For the ones that find themselves in the hole...The season is a grind, manage your money and don't chase. Lot's of games coming to match wits against the ol oddsmaker.
Monday:
GEORGIA TECH +8 (-115)
Blacksburg is a very tough place to play for opposing teams but for whatever the reason GT has grabbed the cash in each of their last three visits there. Alot of it has to do with the option attack I'm sure and the fact that this is the first game of the year makes it tougher to defend imo. Even with Beamer having the extra time, the game speed is very tough to similate in practice. Speaking of extra time....It hasn't mattered much in their season openers as Big Frank has sputtered in this role grabbing no cash in his last 5 attempts. GT was dismal to end the season last year going 1-7 ats including an 11 point loss to these Hokies, but I noted not once were they this big of an underdog. In fact as a dog of 7 or more they have shined covering 8 of the last 9 chances. With GT wanting some revenge and the fact that the visitor has covered 7 of the last 9 between these two, I think we have a pretty solid play on the road team here.
