Bama - I dont think a WR is an integral part of a gameplan and while we are talking about a hell of an athlete, I dont think its that big of a deal. You come with a laundry list of good points and I dont have a good argument against any of them. I just love this spot for Baylor. That bowl game last year was a real awakening for a team that started to feel itself a little bit.
About that Baylor/Okie State game, it was the week after Baylor beat Texas, in Texas. That was a huge game for that team and probably the biggest win ever for Baylor. They came out flat, fell behind and it was over at the half - I cant blame them for that. Young kids are ruled by emotion and I have to say they were so high that just about anyone couldve taken them off their cloud.
You are right that if Baylor is going to beat TCU, this is a better year than ever. It is a great spot.
I can't truthfully say I'll be rooting for you to cash this one, but I do enjoy your takes on the games and this thread should be required reading. Like I said earlier (and Trafalgar mentioned), I think Air Force would have tremendous value as anything less than a field goal favorite next week. TCU is sandwiched between South Dakota and Tennessee St on AF's schedule...talk about an ideal sandwich game for the Falcons. I bet they've been working exclusively on TCU since February.
BOL the rest of the way.

Good luck this season RJSizzle! Good to see ya back. I agree with both picks, I don't quite understand why there is so much love for Miss St. tonight . Like you said, people just fading Memphis, "cuz they suck." I'll take my chances with 4+ TD's at home.

165 - Even if people dont like the picks I am just hoping they can find something to hang their hats on. Hoping to see you around more often this year. The threads were a great time last year.
Insight - Whats up man?! Hope you had a good summer. What are you looking at this week?
DU4L - You got any reads on that Buffalo game?
Style -
Passing on the Bulls at Panthers Matchup .... Graham's boys could name their score if they want ..... I Do like Chazz Anderson starting for the U at Buffalo .....Bulls might have some decent value when MAC play begins
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

Now, if you are looking for a spot to possibly go against TCU it's next week against a very experienced and disciplined Air Force team with around 18 returning starters who always play the Frogs tough at home...
Head removed from ass about Hughes...
And not only is this week a great spot to play against the Frogs, who everyone seems to think is the same squad as last year, lol, but next week is as well. I completely agree.
It sets up pretty good to fade TCU as they are now a public darling and are going to see inflated lines.

Wow ! What an overreaction to LSU's Jefferson missing the Oregon game. They'll just plug in another game manager and let the size and talent at both sides of the line of scrimmage dictate the play. Love that line of +4 with the better team sans idiot QB.
See you around these parts.

Do as you wish my friend, but I don't see how Baylor can be considered a sharp bet right now. This team never fails to disappoint, and the bark of Baylor always seems to be worse than the bite.
Looking forward to a fun and profitable season, Jose.

My thoughts exactly Getty. The degenerate in me still wants to play it. But I know it is no longer a sharp play, and would be chasing a bad number.
Absolutely. I am always trying to learn, and a select few of you have really helped. BOL this year.

If this team has any integrity they cover against Miss St.
I cant believe people are champing at the bit to lay 29 with Miss State on the road. Last year was a great spot to lay the wood with Miss St in this same exact spot. If you laid it, pat yourself on the back.
Holy Shat Bomb!
If you lay it this time? You might have that 'I cant believe I missed that boat' feeling.
Just my two. I lose often.
