About that Baylor/Okie State game, it was the week after Baylor beat Texas, in Texas.  That was a huge game for that team and probably the biggest win ever for Baylor. They came out flat, fell behind and it was over at the half - I cant blame them for that. Young kids are ruled by emotion and I have to say they were so high that just about anyone couldve taken them off their cloud. 

You are right that if Baylor is going to beat TCU, this is a better year than ever. It is a great spot.

I can't truthfully say I'll be rooting for you to cash this one, but I do enjoy your takes on the games and this thread should be required reading. Like I said earlier (and Trafalgar mentioned), I think Air Force would have tremendous value as anything less than a field goal favorite next week. TCU is sandwiched between South Dakota and Tennessee St on AF's schedule...talk about an ideal sandwich game for the Falcons. I bet they've been working exclusively on TCU since February.

Good luck this season RJSizzle!  Good to see ya back.  I agree with both picks, I don't quite understand why there is so much love for Miss St. tonight .  Like you said, people just fading Memphis, "cuz they suck."  I'll take my chances with 4+ TD's at home.

And not only is this week a great spot to play against the Frogs, who everyone seems to think is the same squad as last year, lol, but next week is as well. I completely agree.

It sets up pretty good to fade TCU as they are now a public darling and are going to see inflated lines.

Baylor going tonight....a game thats been circled for a while.

Going away and dont know the internet access I am going to have, so here are the rest of week 1....keep in mind, all small until week 3 or so where things usually start to work out as planned.

1 Unit Auburn -21
1 Unit Fresno State +10
1 Unit Ole Miss +3
1 Unit Ball State +6
2 Units LSU +4
2 Units Colorado +7
1 Unit Houston -3

Good luck with everything boys and remember not to get too carried away. Its only Week 1.

 Wow ! What an overreaction to LSU's Jefferson missing the Oregon game. They'll just plug in another game manager and let the size and talent at both sides of the line of scrimmage dictate the play. Love that line of +4 with the better team sans idiot QB.

My thoughts exactly Getty.  The degenerate in me still wants to  play it.  But I know it is no longer a sharp play, and would be chasing a bad number.

Absolutely.  I am always trying to learn, and a select few of you have really helped.  BOL this year.

Not a chance in hell. There is nothing more square than playing a game at 3.5 when 9, 8.5 and 7 and 6.5 and 6 and 4 were available.

I almost didnt play Baylor at the line I got. But the spot is a must play, for me.

FWIW - I do think Baylor wins.
