***CFB Week 5***
This is it....although I might buy out of Michigan State. Getting a bad feeling.

My 0.002 here is about as valuable as my new post count will allow but i have been around for years just changed accounts due to several reasons...anyways, here nor there. Just wanted to say I am with SJSU totally here. Seems as though my methods of capping are a bit unorthodox compared to others myself. I look at "spots" and the number tagged it opens with. SJSU opening only as 3 point dogs....ridiculous. Clearly a public fav.....even the small sample says so here at covers. with a 75% in the consensus. That being said, I am with you on this one. Hammering the side +3.5 and the ml. Like your ideas bro....

But it doesn't always work.
I remember the Bama-Vols game in 1996 when a 4-1 Tennessee team was inexplicably favored by 14.5 over a 7-0 Alabama team. I had several friends -- Mississippi boys -- who made their first-ever bet on that game to take advantage of the free money the books were giving away.
And we all cleaned up. The game was never in doubt. That still may be the most baffling line I've ever encountered.

But the point is that sometimes Vegas puts out really bad lines that even the most casual handicapper can identify. And that may be the case with the GT/NCSU line. The oddsmakers understandably underrated GT coming into the season, but they also inexcusably overrated NC State.
They've been adjusting the power rating downward each week, but they haven't been able to catch up because of the injuries. I don't know what's going to happen, but I think GT is the right side.

What up, RJ. I know you like the dogs, but no VaTech this week

RJ, no feel on UF. In a pool with 21 people that can pick any 4 games on the board. 11 picked Alabama. 6 picked GT. Normally like to fade them but LSU f-ed me last week.
