I think it's a good thing overall but I wish they could cap it.  Unfortunately there is no way to cap it and monitor it, so I think it will have to stay as is.  But I think $1 million / year for a HS player just coming in as a frosh, and 2 or 3 million for anyone in any class, is plenty.  But as I said, some schools will pay more in certain situations and there is no way the NCAA can monitor it all.  

DJ and Mertz enter the portal, perfect examples of NIL guys kinda gone wrong.  DJ seems like a guy that will end up somewhere big because of his name.  ODB mentioned a rumor about UCLA, what a horrible fit he'd be in Chip Kelly's offense

I mean how many times can you enter the portal? Slovis again? It is like, I can't do it here, I can't do it here, I'll just keep moving till I find a place. Sorry, but I am old school and just suck it up and be better. Maybe you can have one transfer but that is it. Ruining the sport, but of course when they go to the expanded playoffs and the Championship game means you have played 17 games, the players are all going to want compensation. It is the NFL jr. league.

According to ESPN, there has been 508 enter the transfer portal over the weekend. 

Boutte returning to LSU, that is shocking because that dude was visibly not giving a fuck a lot of times this season, especially early on when Daniels wasn't getting him the ball enough.   Brian Kelly must have pulled him some sweet NIL deals

JT Daniels is taking his ball and leaving. AGAIN and AGAIN and now AGAIN. Ridiculous. I thought the goal of the transfer portal was for players to transfer to a team to be able to play instead of sitting on the bench. Daniels started 10 games.

Rewind to 2021 when a boatload of UGA fans were cursing Kirby and Todd Monken because there was no possible way this Stetson kid should be playing over JT Daniels... 2 transfers and a national championship later, I think it's safe to say there's not a conspiracy

It is my advise that all you backup quarterbacks for USC enter a portal and get out FAST!!  If you were not put in during the Utah game, then you will NEVER get called.

 Agree.  Even at the very end of the game and USC clearly lost, they kept Calab in.  

That didn't help his injuries.
