Cincy vs UGA peach bowl last year was uga -7. Cincy covered and should have won if not for a phantom pass interference. Educate yourself

?? ok. How did Kellen Moore and Colt Mccoy do at next level? If those are your “elite” guys.... well then yes.. Ridder fits right in.

Definitely WINNERS tho. I guess its just my opinion so it aint worth much. Just dont consider Ridder elite is all. No offense or anything.

alabama is not the elite team we are used to them being. anyone watching without bias can clearly see that. they will get drilled by georgia and cinci will get in. only one way to find out how good they really are. even if bama and georgia both get in...cinci still gets the 4th spot over notre dame or big 12. then we will get to see if these non power 5 elites are legit. no other way to know. this is assuming they don't slip up vs ecu or houston...which may be a fairly big assumption considering they haven't been dominant lately.

How many UGA players opted out of the bowl game that year to persue the NFL draft, becoming the norm

Stop dumbing down the forum ....some of you knuckleheads that is
* do they 'deserve' to be in the play-off? - if they win out, probably so
* are they one of the top 4 teams in the country? - absolutely not
Would say GTTH (gun to the head) - but that might upset folks ha....so I'll say IF you were forced to risk EVERYTHING you own, and Cinn played a given team for a million dollar payday (each fully motivated) - who would you pick?
GEORGIA?
BAMA?
OHIO STATE?
Michigan?
Ducks?
Utah?
Okie St?
CLEMSON?
OU?
A&M?
Penn St?
Wisky?
NOTRE DAME?
BAYLOR?
OLE MISS?
AX yourself this - which of the above would STRUGGLE facing this gauntlet of teams (with everything on the line)
@Navy FFS - got outgained - couldn't move the ball at all
@ Tulane wtf - struggled to move it again - Wave with 4 TO or mighta lost
Tulsa - fight to the finish
@USF- looked like crap until late - up 10 with 5 min or so left
KEY - Cinn could beat anybody in a bowl - if one their opponent had no interest in being in
>> but a walk off / winner take all?
In the above hypothetical - I would bet at least 10 teams, probably more
* personally I think they're about as good as Baylor or Pitt - maybe slightly better?

clemson??? notre dame??? have you watched football this year? are you telling me notre dame was not motivated to play cinci at home this year?...when cinci held them to their lowest point output of the season by far...the game after notre dame dropped over 40 on wisconsin. georgia and ohio state are clearly better...but any other team on that list could be beat by cinci or by any other team on that list. btw...ou almost lost to tulane at home and ohio st struggled with tulsa most of that game at home. you think cinci was motivated to play those teams? i am not really so much of a cinci believer as i am a believer that there are only 2 teams right now that are ahead of all the others. i think houston is really good and may spoil any chance of us getting to see a non power 5 in the cfp...but i still believe cinci would go toe to toe with most of the teams on your list.

I absolutely love this. Look at the general sentiment on this thread, the public is always wrong and you guys are giving cincy 0 respect. Who was the last team to even give UGA a competitive game?? Cincinnati who was sitting 4 starters that game. This is the best non power 5 football team ever.
