Did anyone watch the LSU Bama game

I find it hilarious and extremely narcissistic of you.  Not surprised by it at all, considering you are a Bama fan who is a fan.  Short for the word "Fanatic".   You simply CANNOT be objective.  You cant take the emotion out of it.

Good points- I don't expect LSU to be near as successful as Georgia Southern.Like you said, the first time you see the triple option it is hard to defend. LSU runs a much simpler style option. I just think they will have some success on the perimeter. Knowing the Mad Hatter though, he might try to incorporate a couple of triple option plays. I give Lee credit for how he played before the Alabama game but if Jefferson wouldn't have gotten in that fight then Lee would have never sniffed the field this year. Under does seem like the right play.

Don't get me wrong, I think LSU will still have some success attacking the perimeter of Alabama's defense.  They're too good not to.  I still think the perimeter is the path of least resistence.

I would like to add a couple more thoughts with respect to the option.  First of all the option LSU is not a tricky option like you see with triple option teams.  One of the reasons LSU is so successful with it is they get terrific blocking on the outside.  If they can account for all the defensive players and lock-up with then for a second or two, it's a 6-8 yard gain.

The problem with the option is that it exposes Jefferson to vicious hits from Alabama's linebackers.  And if there is anyone you don't want to get hit by, it's those monsters.  For that reason I think LSU will have to manage how many times they run that.

Just because LSU will attack the perimeter a lot, they'll still ram Ware and Hilliard between the tackles.  They aren't going to abandon that.  But I do expect to see Alabama's defense be more assignment sound in defending the option, and do a better job of recognition and shedding blocks early.

The wild card in this game is can LSU make some plays in the passing game, because that's what they'll need to do if they want to leave the Super Dome as BCS national champs.  They weren't able to do it the first game, but Jordan Jefferson has a lot more game reps under his belt this time around.  Can he make some plays with his arm???  That will be one of the keys of the game.

I suppose I shouldn't bother trying to point out how conservative LSU played that first game, or the fact that Lee turned it over twice and you'll see no such thing 2nd time around, because then the line will just keep moving in favor of LSU, which I will be playing.

Jimmy you guys have a fine squad this year but NS has proven time and time again he is a phenomenal recruiter but average gameday coach.  He blew it the first go round and I expect more of the same in the 2nd go round.  He'll get frustrated again and do something stupid.

Oddly enough I believe the month layoff hurts lsu and favors bama, because I have no doubt if the game was next weekend lsu would win by at least 2 TD's.

Still see lsu winning this game convincingly.  They've got the 'it' factor this year, and anybody trying to say otherwise is a fool.

The game is over a month away.  That makes a big difference.

We might even see a TD in this game.  

Tell me this if JJ can run the damn option so good why didn't LSU get a 1st down the 1st half of the SEC Championship game, how many did Boise State get or any other team get on Georiga as far as 1st downs in the 1st half....get real everybody don't be blind.

Get a fucking life- Anytime anybody discusses the possibility of Alabama losing a game you resort to talking smack, name calling. It seems lately you can not discuss a game without doing any of those things. If LSU sucks so bad why did they beat Alabama? Game was fairly even except for special teams which LSU dominated. Special teams are part of the game. Saban was outcoached in that game as well. JJ running the option was what helped win the game against Alabama. Against Georgia LSU only ran the option twice in the first quarter and twice in the second quarter all for positive yards. Poor field position kept them from running it more. You saw what happened in the 2nd half. Go ahead and say Alabama is a lock. Please keep showing your ignorance.

i didnt know Bama never did make it to the red zone i also fell asleep during the game it was a boring game ,with all that being said i thought without a doubt they were 2 best teams in nation

I agree and disagree with Saban not being a great game-day.  He is not very good on the offensive side of the ball, but is outstanding on the defensive side of the ball.

Let's reserve LSU's "it factor" designation until after the national championship game.  If they win, then they we can safely crown them with the "It factor."

 How is it the overtime rule cost Alabama the game? Both teams had the same chance and Bama couldn't convert- Special teams is part of the game- Alabama couldn't stop LSU in overtime and that is why they lost. Alabama's FG kicker missed a long FG because they went backwards in overtime. You are the biggest crybaby i have ever seen.

Saban's a good coach but an even better recruiter. That being said Miles is no slouch. He was slow to win me or many other fans over for that matter. He's a good coach although goofy and i think he has learned from his past time management mistakes. The players sure play their asses off for him.Ever since he turned the Michigan job down i think he got a lot of people's respect since that would have been his dream job. I'm too lazy to look it up but i'm pretty sure LSU and Bama pretty much take turns each year on who has the better recruiting classes. This next game should be a good one and i see it being higher scoring although that wouldn't take much. My prediction is LSU 23 - 17.
