If there is a bigger homer out there I do not know who it is. You would be hard pressed to find one I swear. He thinks the Ohio State Punkeyes are the elite team in football. to hear him talk is painful. As a broadcaster you have got to be unbiased. Herbstreit aggravate anyone else?

hey douche bag they are and elite program. You fucking people crack me up . GO look at the numbers, since 1998 osu has sent the most players to the pros than any other team. How about knowing what the fuck your talking about before putting a stupid post like this up.

They won the national championship when miami was suppose to blow them out by 50 and you fucking people just cant stand the fact that they win every year. The University of Miami has the most players in the NFL today, with 47. Florida State comes in second place with 45 players in the NFL. Miami jumped over FSU after the 2006 NFL draft. It was previously stated that Nebraska had the most players in the NFL, however, according to ESPN's count they have about 33. That is considerably less that Miami or FSU, which are generally the schools considered to produce the best NFL talent in the country.

Michigan has 52 in 2007 (according to CBS Sportsline).

And stazz, if you define elite program as a school that schedules opponents that a high school team would beat, then makes it to a bowl and then gets pasted then yes the Ohio State Punkeyes are an elite program.

To stay on topic. I think Herbstreit does a pretty damn good job. Until recently, it was apparent that he liked the Canes as much as the Luckeyes. It must be tought to not come across as pro OSU*. He could be a lot worse. Could be better though. I like his overall prespective, even if it is a little too Midwestern biased.

I think Herbstreit does a decent job, it's tough to avoid sounding biased when you have played for the team. Herby is one of the few (very few) no retarded buckeye fans/grads

He's pretty good and I think unbiased towards the Buckeyes as much as he can be.  I mean come on he played qb for them and he really doesn't home team it.  He was just on Colin's show this morning and wasn't supportive of the Buckeyes in the title game.
