I don';t think Dixon is much of a passer, sorry.

His deep balls are not very accurate.  He does fine with the short shit which is mostly what they do anyway.

That plays right into USC's strenghts. I dont know why people don't go deep on USC. That short stuff won't work. And the more short passes that are made, the more chances for turnovers. Petes gameplan has always been to allow the opposing team to chip away, especially in the 1st half. Once the 2nd half begins, all hell breaks loose.

No chance USC only allows 17 in this one. EVen if Stewart and Dixon got hurt.

Last great 'Option QB' (though different offensive schemes) USC faced, go back just a few years...ahem...Vince Young. USC studied everything about him. They had a full month to prepare. They had a better offense (does it even compare) to keep the ball out of Vince Young's hands, and we all know the result: He made the final drive look easy, and tiptoed into the endzone on the keeper.
 
The focus is there, but will the execution (assassination) be there?

I used to think USC was the nuts in the 2nd half until that Arizona game.  I won't bet on them again this year.

The quacks will do their usual 7-1 or 6-2 and then lose their last 4 games or 4 out of 5.They do it every year....start out strong and choke.Petey is money in big games,especially on the road.They only lose to lesser talent,and the quacks have not seen a defense as fast as sc,nor have they defended against 6'3" and 6'5" receivers.Vidal hazelton and the freshman joe mcknight will have the ducks swimming in the quagmire in autzen.SC 30-nike 17. BOOK IT. Wasn't george carlin a left wing tree hugging  hippie from the 60's  who ate berries and tree bark  with yuille gibbons? Whatever happened to him and the Rowan & Martin crew?

U know...being an SC alum...I do have to admit this is highly uncharacteristic of my Trojans to be posting bulletinboard material.

Hopefully they can back up what they say.  Even when they were flying high and absolutely unstoppable the past 3-4 years I don't ever recall them going public with their smacking.

well....all i can say is I hope they can back it up.  

And as for "Stanford"?     Who cares?   Nevermind about Oregon St. and UCLA last year.  Who cares when SC plays soft against soft teams.  You should already know these guys sleep walk and play to the level of their competition.

What matters most, (especially when I have money on them) is when I back them in the BIG GAME.  And considering they get single digits, which is rare in itself, THEY'VE ONLY FAILED ONCE!

I'd take my chances in the trends everytime instead of trying to pick the right spot to go against it.
