Hokies live for this kind of spot. Lane Stadium is one of the toughest places to play in the conference if not the nation. Plus te last few Thrusdays home teams have been the play. No reason to think otherwise...GL tho

-BC's defense is just as good if not better than VT -Matt Ryan is worlds better than anyone Beamer will put under center tonight. Taylor is supposed to play but i read its game time.
I know BC is the "sucker" play but...if i get the same if not better defense with a much better QB plus 3 points, how does that make me the sucker? VT is only favored b/c they are home...they are not the better team. They should not be ranked 8 but b/c they lost early and havent lost since, they've jumped just about everyone above them.
How does VT score tonight? Blocked punts and pick 6's? Don't you need a QB to make plays at some point?

I hear ya koaj - i realize their D is ranked 27th nationally and 1st against the run.. but dosnt bemer know this too?? should he game-plan to throw the ball?
And even though glennon or whatever his name is, is a "bad" QB... isn't he the one you would want to be throwing?
I think tech will air it out 2night - maybe I'll just go with the over because I hate, hate, hate taking higher ranked road teams getting points.

It makes more sense to me to be on BC, and I think Vegas wants everyone on BC. If the line was VTECH getting points at home, I think almost everyone would be on that as a Thursday night home dog. So, Vegas needs BC action, and that's why I do not want to give it to them.

I don't think VTech can do enough offensively to win this game, unless BC turns it over or VTech sets up short fields with their special teams play (which could happen.) For me it comes down to the defenses are even, BC advantage on offense, especially QB, Vtech advantage special teams. I think Ryan will be a bigger factor then the Vtech special teams. Good luck.

when you give up only 46 rushing yards a game teams have no choice but to try and throw on you
stats can be misleading
Same page with ya on this one...BC number 1 ranked Run D...VT cannot throw it will be rainy and they are hoping their special teams makes plays...BC is too smart for the and Ryan steals the show
