I have read enough on this string to tell me this is a pass for me. I was on on Auburn last week -3...I do try to bet with my head. Prima facie 13 points seems like a hell of a lot of points for a Top 10 SEC matchup. But it is at BR at night and the drunk Cajuns will make it raucous. And that LSU D who gave 70 to Texas A and M in 7 OTs and almost 40 to my Longhorns. For me it’s about predictability and for this match up the potential variance is wide between a 3 or Florida upset to a 28 pt LSU romp. Gentlemen, from my vantage the best play here is a pass...GLTA

Is it weird that I feel the real x-factor to this game doesnt even start?..... Its Emory Jones for Florida. Idk if anybody was paying attention to his cameo appearances.... But Mullin is actively getting him reps in every game for a reason.... Feel like the Gators offense is COMPLETELY different animal with him. Trask has been serviceable but I feel like Mullin knows that Emory Jones can make his offense elite. especially with those recievers and that tight end.... If they can make teams worry about Jones/Perine rpo.... WATCHOUT.... BIG IF tho

Exactly, Texas’s D no where near the Gators especially secondary....They were playing ping pong in Austin couple weeks ago, I expect Trask and the Gators are gonna collect ONE TD and 2 FGs at best, when their in a terrible spot they have to accept the L and move on.

Everyone who knows me, knows that I follow LSU very closely-They look great but who have they played? Texas put up a ton of yards and points on what was supposed to be an elite defense- Vandy, Ga. Southern, Utah St. aren't even in the same class with Florida. Let's not forget that LSU is pretty banged up. (3 offensive lineman, a CB, Safety, and their starting TE)- LSU and Burrow haven't seen anything like this Gator defense this year and it won't be toss and grab like it has been so far- I expect a very hard fought game that will be closer than most expect-

DVR'd Finebaum...he gushes over Mullen. Says when he starts getting the right recruits, UF will contend for Natty's. Huge Gators fan here that follows recruiting...he's right. And if UF had a decent OL, they'd be a threat now. The WR corp is probably A-Z the best in the country. The DB group is among the best. That said, I tease this game up to 14. Can UF win Sat night...sure. Likely? Nope. The guys in here alluding to Emory Jones are 1k on point. When Trask went down, I looked at my buddy and said I'm fine with it. People in the crowd around us were scared as hell. Emory Jones is eventually gonna be a big deal at UF.

I think something nobody is really looking at is this is the 2nd HUGE game in a row for Florida. Last week they were dogs in their own place and played very hard and well. Its almost impossible to match that intensity 2 weeks in a row.....and do it in possibly the toughest place to play in college football in primetime. I'm not saying they cant hang, but it gonna be tough.......

I was in the Stadium too, we weren't worried at all, every time Emory comes in the game the run game opens up from the LB's sitting back on their heels fearing the 2 way dynamic.. He threw some beautiful balls too. He will begin to play more, and will have to anyway if Trask keeps holding the ball that long without moving up into the pocket and he doesn't help the run game either. But they are both solid options for what we're stuck with, and will both steadily improve, for sure...

That's what I was saying earlier, you get a teams A game juice maybe 5 times tops a season.. people get tired of hearing it, but this is how and why the SEC feasts on themselves from back to back weeks and sometimes 3 and 4 games like this. Auburn will go through it soon too, Florida used to have to play Auburn and LSU back to every single year for many years, that's unreal. The funny thing about UF, the years they've won Championships, they've done it against the top SOS's in the country anyway and when they start off beating that first West opponent in the 5th or 6th game on schedule...

Us Dawgs were really hoping Emory would stay home, not sure if UGA really pursued him that hard with D'wan Mathis. Plumlee was also committed to UGA for a while until Fields transferred and Mathis switched from OSU to UGA. I can tell you, lots of folks are willingly ignorant to life after Fromm. We're screwed if he goes down... And we really need him to stay his senior year for Beck to develop or Mathis to beef up as well.
Let me get your honest opinion: Can you become that much of a better recruiter? Mullen now has the resources to do it, but can he? Took Kirby exactly one season to reel in a top 3 class in 2017, and followed it with the #1 class in 2018. I'd like to see Mullen put a few more pieces on his staff solely focused on that recruiting side. No reason he shouldn't have the best recruits staying in Florida with the downfall of FSU and Miami; and Florida is a national brand as well.

Recruiting has never EVER been the issue at UGA, nor at LSU either. It's always been getting the most out of it, Richt wasted top elite classes for years, same with Miles...

Eh... Richt was an OK recruiter. His problem was consistency. He would reel in a top 5 class and then follow it with one outside the top 10, it's almost pattern like. #4 or 5 in the country the year he brought in Stafford but then followed it with a #13 class, and then another top 5 class with AJ Green and company. Florida consistently out-recruited UGA even through the Will Muschamp era. It was the Jim McElwain tenure that was the downfall of Florida recruiting and it happened almost immediately, #20 class for Florida in 2015 to UGA's #8.

Mark Richt was a terrible in game coach. He had the players, just no idea how to put them in spots to succeed when he was up against a better coach (which was often). They usually won because the players were just too good, not because of schemes or coaching decisions.

And Richt is a better game day coach than Miles . The NFL rosters speak for that fact. Being a homer, I have on my purple and gold glasses , but Florida is gonna be in for tough sledding . I think LSU puts up at least 40 , and there's no way Fla can score that many points. And if you think Vegas is crazy , bet your mortgage payment on the Gators. It must be a cinch !

LSU is not banged up on the offensive line. Quite the opposite. Got their best interior lineman back from suspension last week and zero injuries to any other starters. Also all #1 de linemen and linebackers are good to go. LSU will be without it's third best WR and the DBs have been rotated to plug some holes in the secondary.
I'll take LSU team total over 35.

No way I bet the TT Over here.....if you think they are gonna score 40 you might as well bet them -13.....the Gator will give them all they can handle

Great game to watch but keep your gambling money in your pocket. It is so HARD to beat the brilliant Vegas odds makers winning 55 percent of the time, that’s right around break even.
Pick your spots gents, pick your spots. Bet against the worst teams the cappers can’t look at too closely not on the premier games that have really solid lines.
