I Am a big follower of a couple of the people online and really loved your consesus idea when you came out with it last year. The only problem i ran into as a better who follows others good picks (i can't pick college to save my life) is that it felt like by the time i got a hold of the consen picks the lines had always moved enough to scare me. I no there is not really a possible solution but if you could find out how to mabey get the picks earlier it would benifit all of us on here who are trying to find the best picks.
Let me chime in here on this issue. There were a couple of situations last year where a late capper selection eliminated a game shortly before kick off. I can't remember the result of those games. There were also a few situations where a late pick made a team a consensus. By and large I believe the capper list this year generally tends to post well in advance of game time and in fact you can see that a bunch of guys have already picked. Fortunately I am able to get computer time Saturday morning fairly consistently (assuming I manage my alcohol input on Friday night), so from my perspective, if there are late additions/subtractions, I can manage it. Ideally I would like see all the cappers included post as early as possible and this year since now the thread has some credibility, perhaps I can request the "late" cappers to PM me earlier. Lets see how it plays out the first couple of weeks before we hit the panic button on this one.
Line movement was not a factor last year. Having said that, we did get some fairly substantial line movements on a few games, so I am not saying that may not eventually bite us, especially since most of the consensus games seem to be on favorites. Personally I play the games the morning or afternoon of gameday and it was not an issue for me.
I did forget about AMD, if he is posting this year I will add him in....

Actually, I do have is a record of every wager I have made since 1971. It would be a major pain in the tail to reproduce that, much less to drag out all the old ledgers that I have tucked away somewheres, but I guess I could. The last time I did it was a couple of years ago, and that is how I got my 58+% average.
BigDaddy, do you plan on posting your picks this season for CFB?

manifesto - might not want to be too quick to give the boot to some veterans if going .500 for a few weeks, solid cappers will come out of it eventually, especially if proven for couple years or more. If any of those others not around yet are a no show for this year plenty of good candidates like amd, bigdaddy, placinunits, ice4blood, hotroute, bulldawgpride, megalocks and among several others

Your point is well taken and I think you are correct, so I will definitely not be too quick to pull the trigger on any changes, and I have already added amd and ice4blood. Quite frankly I am a bit nervous because last year I started in week 8 and I am not sure what type of results we will get early in the year. Having said that, most people I talk to think the easiest money is the first three weeks of the season, so lets hope that plays in our favor. Good luck this season.

Is it only me or does anyone else want to bone the blond chick in the BetED ads?
Here ye, here ye!
Agree with the list, spot on! I read Pimp went tout, along with BBookie and Bird. But, just what I've seen.... Looking forward to a great season! (amd and Boom should definitely be added, and don't forget HotRoute)
