Should have been 10 & 3 last week, but due to the cancellation of the West Virginia game, and a last second pick 6, I ended the week at a respectable 8 & 4, and a not so respectable 1 & 1 on Best Bets with Georgia debacle. Still made a handsome week 1 profit.
Don't have a lot of time to post right now, so I'm going to throw out my Friday night play, and post Saturday in a little while.
Friday Night:
FIU + 3.5 @ Louisville
I really like Arizona State as well, but the line got away from me.
Wiil be back shortly.

I see a lot of Covers love for Tennessee, but I also lean Cincy. I would have considered pulling the trigger if I could have gotten 7.

I know there is a lot of love out there for Air Force. I usually bet Air Force a couple of times every year myself, but I don't think this is the spot to take them.
As a conference foe, TCU sees Air Force and their option every year. Of all the teams in the Mountain West Conference, no team has been more successful in defending Air Force's option than TCU. I don't think Air Force has scored more than 20 points against TCU at any time during the Patterson regime.
Therefore, I think we have a pretty good idea that TCU will hold Air Force under 20 points like they usually do. If that is so, then the question is can TCU score more than 20 on Air Force. I think they can and will.
I like TCU.

SDSU is probably my favorite play of the week. You might recall that I played NIU against Army last week. NIU was winning 49-6 going into 4th quarter before they unloaded the bench and hung on for an easy 49-26 win and cover.
This game with SDSU is almost identical to the NIU game. SDSU and NIU are very, very similar teams.
Furthermore, SDSU is extremely experienced in defending the option. Aside from playing Air Force every year, Army will be the 3rd straight option team that SDSU will have to defend. They crushed the first two (Navy and Cal Poly), and will crush Army as well.
The Cal Poly game was actually a scrimmage for the Army game because, intrestingly enough, the architect of Cal Poly's offensive attack is none other than Rich Ellerson who is the current head coach at Army. In other words, SDSU will be facing the exact same offense this week that they saw last week!!!
Not only will SDSU win and cover this game easily, it is probably the most predictable game on the board this week. Trust me. Play SDSU and thank me later!!!

Like alot of the pics!!
Do you have any concerns about San Diego St playing a Noon game after the travel from the left coast??
I am very familiar with the over 3,000 miles SDSU must travel to make their way to Michie Stadium, that this is a 9:00 a.m. west coast start time, and that there will be a very emotional 9-11 ceremony in West Point. All of these factors have been built into the line. That's why we're getting SDSU at -9.5.
Am I concerned? No, not in the least. Despite all of these factors, this game should not be competitive. Just like last week, Army simply does not have the horses on defense to slow SDSU's power running attack down. Expect a result very similar to last week's NIU game.

Two unbelievably horrendous football teams. Laying 10 points with ASU will be the worst bet I make all season.
