I'm not trying to be tough nor bitter or anything. I'm just a troll. I'll discuss football but I rather not talk about plays, I'm superstitious. Like, everytime I discuss a game I like and lose, I realize that subconsciously my brain only wants to discuss it because there is a deep doubt somewhere. If there is a subconscious certainty, I don't usually discuss it. And it usually works out.

Tough week.  I did tail, but that's on me.  The Auburn bet worried me only because they managed to hang with Clemson (though they don't look so hot either).  Oh well, on to next week!

One of my all time favorites Jimmy Da Freak.I swear on my life I started Saturday 0-11 then hit a 2game par Auburn & Oregon 1st h then popped UFC 2game par payed +150 which got me close to even.Heck,u start 0-11 and come out less than 100loser its a small ..PennSt U 1st h,Purdue and UMass all hit me right in the mouth along w Clemson..Oregon 1st half caught me up and I had the best Sunday Ive had in years.My NFL guy went 9-0..NyG,Philly,USeattle,UBears,Detriot,Over Det,NE,NE teaser..Love getting that text to pick money up Mon morn.Why not kick off week 3with a write up about The Game in the Grove...My betting partner is an Ole Miss alum .We both agreed on beating Bama is best next to a National Title.Heck,he hasnt even sniffed a West Title.Yeah man,I was hot early Sat because I got cracked...Days like this Sunday make u just love this ,but I do know the Tide turns fast.Right nowb

What I like about covers is we have good cappers like Jimmy. What I can't stand about covers is we have a bunch of stupid gamblers who don't blame themselves for their bad habits. Week one Jimmy is great. Week two jimmy isn't great. What is the reaction of all the stupid gamblers? Week one they put him on a pedestal and make him the greatest thing since sliced bread. Week two they throw stones at Jimmy.

Let's go back to Gambling 101. 


Never get too high or too low. Random chance means a really good gambler has losing weeks and winning weeks. Hell they can have lousy months, even break even years.

Never bet too high a percentage of your bankroll or a normal losing streak will wipe you out. This isn't just a notion of mine it is a mathematical formula called the Kelly criterion. Look it up.

I could go on with just a very small percentage of bettors win the proper percentage of time to beat the 5 to 10% taken by the books on each losing bet, but why bother. Why once again explain that you should expect to be a loser in gambling, that you should bet only what you can afford to lose until you are good enough to grow a bigger bankroll. You should bet small so that if you are in the plus 90% of the public that are squares than sports gambling is nothing more than good cheap entertainment that makes an otherwise boring football game fun to watch.
