Your comparisons are apples and oranges.  When Spurrier was the coach, Tennessee was competing for national championships every year AND (because of Roy Boy) Tennessee ALWAYS had a bye week before playing Florida.  So of course Florida was never a 30-point favorite.

Vegas made a 30-point line here becasue they are begging people to take Tennessee!!!

This game is an absolute talent mismatch across the board.  Florida can, and will, name their score in this game.  As I said, Florida WILL win this game by AT LEAST 50 points!!!

You are absolutely correct, and tomorrow Crompton will be facing the best defense in the nation.  Florida not only returned all 11 starters from last year, but they returned all 11 backups as well.  Now let that sink in for a second!!!  Think about what that defense did to the Sooners in the Championship game.

Last year Florida only gave up 6 points to Tennessee, and that is when Florida's defense was much less experienced.  I'll be surprised if Tennessee matches that offensive output this year in the Swamp!!!

Moreover, when Florida gets out to a big early lead, and Crompton is forced to throw, that defense will pick his pocket. See what they did to Georgia's Matthew Stafford last year when he became one-dimensional (Stafford threw 3 pickles)!!!  By the way, that Georgia game was also a huge revenge game for Urban Meyer and the Gators because of Mark Richts antics the year before.  Florida won that game 49-10.

No need to tease anything here.  Florida will make a mockery out of this spread!!!

The only thing that makes this game a play is that it will be an easy winner.  I made my decision on this play in January, long before ESPN was talking about it.

The bottom line is that a play on Tennessee =   ESPN or not, nothing will save you from that fate!!!

First off, I notice you just joined this thread in August of 2009.  I on the other hand have been around here since October, 2003.  During that time, I've seen hundreds of morons like you come and go.  Morons who know nothing about betting college football, and have absolutely nothing positive to contribute to the thread!!!  The chance that you are still posting under your current handle during the bowl season is between slim and none, and Slim just left town.

The last time a similar situation occurred in college football was in 2003 when Oklahoma played Texas A&M (a conference foe). Texas A & M beat Oklahoma straight up the year before, but because of a riff that developed between Stoops and Franchione, the Sooners were instilled as a 31-point favorite.  Morons like you were falling all over themselves in their angst to put their money on the sucker bet of the year.  I, on the other hand, begged & pleaded with people on this message board to not only NOT wager on the Aggies, but to go HUGE on Oklahoma. The final score was 77-0!!! The bet was over at the half when the Sooners took a 49-0 lead into the locker room. The 31 points was a joke, as will the 30 points prove to be in this game.

BTW, I'm sorry to hear you lost your ass on the Steelers, SoCal, New England & San Diego.  I'm guessing after you lose your ass on Tennessee tomorrow, you will have pretty much busted your allowance for the year!!!
