south florida is reeeeeling right now, losers of 4 straight and minus the pitt debacle, all were very close. cuse are losers of 2 straight after their beat down of wvu. nothing like a team you own to "get right" though, usf is 5-1 ats/su last 6 against the cuse and its not like usf is a bad team here, they are second in the Big East in total offense (468.2), passing
offense (266.8), and leads the league in rushing offense with 201.3 yards per
game.
The Bulls have the fourth rated defense in the Big East, yielding 344.7 yards
per game. South Florida leads the country in tackles for loss per game with
nine, and are second in the nation in sacks per game with 3.5.Nassib has played very well, but if they can't get their running game going, their offense will be limited, that is what happened to them against louisville and uconn. they only had 84 yards v louisville and haven't had much success at all last two times out. south florida held rutgers to 51 yds on 28 carries and i think they will be ready to stop the run tonight. south florida will be flat out desperate and as a matter of fact, i don't think anyone on this current usf team has lost @ Syracuse. that type of mindset is certainly a plus when looking to get off the snide. little bit of $ on the home dog tonight, so that makes me feel a bit better about backing a road fav.
