NCSTATE gains a huge break with a strip sack fumble recovery at ND 20......then squander the opportunity.....

IRISH still lead 24 - 17 with time ticking down in 3Q

Was leaning LIBERTY to cover a spread vs weakass N.Mexico STATE.....but....Aggies have the extra game edge so I backed off....

 

Conversely I was considering home dogs Florida International who have the extra game edge.....but they are rated near the bottom of FBS so I'll pass.....

No harm in passing and gaining more info for next weekend....

So, despite getting tagged for 30 yds more penalties, and despite giving up a turnover that cost them bigly, my home dog HURRICANES +4.5 are up 21 - 17 at the half with 276 net yards to only 148......Revenge match for Miami! after whupping A&M last yr in College Station but LOSING on a fluke......

After yielding a fieldgoal,  my HURRICANES took the ensuing kickoff back 98 yds for the TD!! an_happydude

28 - 20  Canes   despite losing 3 starting D linemen during this game!

OK they just  scored to narrow the score to 13 - 20  but with only 2:53 left there's no way this team is going to get the lucky comeback to win or just cover 4 pts......NOT gonna happen this time....

CANES up 31 - 26    end 3Q......and just FORCED a fumble & recovery at A&M 30.......fortunate but it was a good defensive play....not lucky

I am iffy about covering 10 pts AT HOME in this spot when the opp does have that 2nd game played edge, but I do like the Deacons to win SU.

And it's looking like I would have gone 3 - 1 on these dogs....but alas, I passed.
