Ihad my best bowl season ever, capping it with 5k on Georgia...went 12-5 this bowl season...taking half my profit and playing the Georgia ML first half and game...
In my opinion, Georgia coaches really messed up against OU and almost blew the game. That game should never have been close. The game plan in first half was awful, but completely dominated the 2nd half 28-7 which is what the game should have been.
The Bama score looked dominating, but in reality they didn’t play well at all on offense. They only scored 17 points on offense and every drive started at the 50. Clemson on offense is a joke, absolutely awful and that QB is terrible.
The Georgia offense will do significantly better on offense and force the Bama offense to score which they won’t do. The Bulldogs are beginning to take over in the SEC, including the recruiting class the last 2 years....and the icing on the cake will be beating Bama for the title!!!!

this is accurate. im a big believer in fromm too. georgias defense is the same as clemsons if not better. chubb/michel combo is deadly af. the big question is, can fromm handle the big stage this year? he's going to have to make some clutch throws to win this game

Arub——By no means am I taking anything away from Bamas D....they are great. But, Georgia’s offense is significantly better than Clemson’s offense...Clemson could not run at all, and the Qb would only at one WR...

When was last time a run-based offense beat Alabama? Im thinkin back to ironbowl couple years back... But that was more an option offense with RPO's thrown in back when teams didnt really know how to defend RPO's yet. You need a QB with some escapability that can make plays.... Which leads me to...

No this is not Johnny Manziel or Deshaun Watson. I havent really seen anything from Fromm to make me believe he can beat Alabama. Bame will take away Chubb and Michel and force Fromm to beat them.... Im not saying he CAN'T.... Jus saying I havent seen it.
3) Former Nick Saban protege.
Saban eats his ex-coaches children. Simple as that.
Ill be rooting for Georgia. But my gut says these 3 factors are the most important to remember and probably explain why Saban is holding trophy again

When was last time a run-based offense beat Alabama? Im thinkin back to ironbowl couple years back... But that was more an option offense with RPO's thrown in back when teams didnt really know how to defend RPO's yet. You need a QB with some escapability that can make plays.... Which leads me to...

It takes a very specific formula to beat Alabama. i have never seen a team OUT-ALABAMA ALABAMA. Seems like Georgia is gonna try to use Alabama formula to beat Alabama... and i cant bet on anyone to do this until i see a team pull it off...

Alabama has always had the edge going against pro-style offenses. But I feel like those past games were against some pretty legendary bama teams. I mean the BEST bama teams. You are over-rating this Bama team compared to last year, they are not as good and Georgia is miles better, older, stronger and coached as well now that Kirby has been there. You are forgetting, Kirby knows what Bama can and will do and they are at home.

To the core.....thats what Clemson was last year. They got away from this this year. Miss St. is a run offense who had Bama on the ropes until a few minutes left in the game. Auburn is mostly a run offense when they try to beat Bama.....and did so with Kerryon this year.

What happened when Bama walked into Auburn with the stakes so high for them? They put themselves potentially into the backseat of a playoff. Bama will play well....but don't discount their opponent ....its a big mistake

I have some on Bama to win it all. I was thinking Georgia at home is a worse matchup. But to be honest I think Oklahoma deserved that game and somehow lost it. I think Baker Mayfield might have been a bigger threat against Alabama. He's certainly mobile, and Oklahoma plays that hurry-up offense like Deshaun Watson did last year with Clemson that just wore out Alabma.
If Georgia wins they'll have to beat their big brother. Granted it's a home game, but it's not like it's very far from Tuscaloosa-maybe a 5 hour drive-though I'm sure that highway's going to be full. And tickets are running for $2k and up, meaning the wine and cheese crowd that usually isn't a big factor.
That said Georgia is on a roll, lucky and their running attack was great. Alabama might have yet another injury at linebacker. And Jalen Hurts isn't hurting anybody-the Alabama offense just isn't dangerous and it's the weak link on the team.
Just hoping for a Bama win here. I can't say I have a feeling on this game like I did for Bama against Clemson.
