I don't know if he was the best player ever, but Bo Jackson was the greatest athlete I ever saw play in person.

Marcus DuPree of the Sooners was very special,when he was healthy....A lot like Bo and Herschel....

he was absolutely the most intimidating player of all time.  there never was and never will be a combination of instincts, size, speed that have been in one package ever. he's definately the best college football player ever IMO. to anybody that doesnt remember, go on youtube and look up his highlight films.  no one ever affected the outcome of games more from a free safety position.

Obviously he's not the greatest of all time but Charles Rogers MSU was a hell of a receiver. Josh Reed LSU was a phenomenal receiver also.

Too bad college success doesnt equate to the Pro's.

how about four year starter PAT WHITE--only person to win four bowl games (3 as dogs i believe) 2 of them BCS against "powerhouses", all time leading rusher as a QB.

This is a homer pick, but has to be considered one of the best 10 college QB's EVER

I was going to say Barry before I opened up your thread...Herschel Walker is pretty close...As far as who I have seen live I would have to say Reggie Bush which I saw his breakout performance vs Va Tech.
