I am on UGA think this game is going to be tight, but SEC football can be anything but predictable. Think Bama wins but doesn't cover. Are you beginning to see the light in the NCG? Golson plays better in pressure spots so does ND for that matter.

I'm glad you covered one game on Bama this season!! I'm 8-1 on playing Bama. And that was LSU. I didn't give them enough credit. But I also think you've been against Bama on Michigan, Ole Miss, Tennessee....must I go on.
I'm happy you proved us wrong on LSU. Good Play.
But BAMA covers this game without a doubt.
BAMA -7 (4 units)

I went back and was watching the A+M Bama game and noticed that McCarron was a total choke artist in that game. Picks missing open receivers making bad decisions etc. Question who is more likely to choke in SEC champ Murray or McCarron?
McCarron definitely choked in the A&M game, particularly on the 3rd and goal play from the 5 with A&M leading 29-24. He choked in two ways on the play. Go back and watch it.
After doing a nice job of extending the play, McCarron basically made a decision to run the ball just as he crossed the 20 yard line instead of looking for a receiver down field. Had he looked up he would have seen Lacy standing wide open in the end zone. Lacy was so open because his defender had fallen down. It should have been an easy touchdown.
Even running the ball, McCarron should have had an easy touchdown. Instead of cutting to the outside of the field where there was nobody, he cut his run to the inside and right into the teeth of the defense. Just a terrible play on McCarron's part.
That said, Murray and his coach have a long history of choking in big games. Georgia is basically the Virginia Tech of the ACC. It's awfully hard to back Georgia or Virginia Tech in any kind of meaningful game.

Have you went back and Watch Florida vs Georgia where Murray threw 3 INT's?? They only won because UF turned the ball over 6 times!!
Murrary is 3-9 against ranked teams. 1-1 this year.
AJ is a BCS MVP and I'll take that over Murray and Richt's choking ways any day!!

That is an excellent point. If either team wins in a blowout my take on the title game would certainly change.

Tend to agree with your assessment of UGA. I will check that film out when I get a chance.

Agree about home field but the SEC is not predictable. I guess you had A+M ML vs Bama then?

No I had A&M in that game to cover. I thought AL would win, but not cover. AL was coming off 5 straight SEC games and that was a horrible spot for them.
Anyways what a ridiculous comment you made. By no means do I or anyone else predict every game right. All I said was the SEC is the most predictable out of every conference IMO.
By the way I do think AL is in a tough spot in this game. GA matches up pretty well and I don't see much value on either side. I will not be playing this game unless I do an in-game bet. I am a AL fan, but an educated one. I don't bet BAMA blindly every week and don't think they are unbeatable. AL has some glaring holes to me this year on defense. They are very talented, but in my opinion they are not playing all that great right now. Now hopefully they lay the smack down this weekend, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost.
Now a month from now when they have a chance to get healthy/rested and a month for Saban to prepare against ND. That is a huge mismatch. AL has many more superior athletes than ND or anyone else in the country and will lay the smackdown if they get there.
