Manti pulls off the impossible.
Manti pulls off the impossible.
Actually I love CFB top to bottom, but ND is no doubt my team. In all honesty I think Manziel is going to win, but everything about this season for ND has been utterly improbable. What's one Heisman and one more win in Dolphins Stadium? Nobody thought ND would be in this spot myself included. Nobody thought Manti Teo would be one of three selected for the Heisman. Regardless if it's Manziel or Teo winning CFB history is about to be made one way or the other and that's always amazing to see. If Manziel wins I hope he can handle it and not let it go to his head. Afterall, he is a kid and has what 2 or 3 seasons of CFB ahead of him.

I like your confidence but you were also confident ND had no shot in Norman. Never say never Grid. If was all about what it says on paper there would be no reason to play the games.
Best of Luck

Why can't they wait until AFTER the bowls to pick the winner? They don't pick the MVP of the super bowl until AFTER the game. So why pick the most prestigious football player in the world before his biggest game.
I know I know......the winner is picked for his over the season performances.......BUT...how many times do you say after the winners bowl game, "geez, expecting a better performance from the best player in college football."
Just want these guys to FIGHT until the end for that trophy that follows them throughout there life. Just my opinion.

I think Manziel wins it but Te'o deserves it more. Te'o played in a system that was not expected to win, but this young man clearly played the biggest role, on any team in CFB and he took a mediocre team and theyre defense to the next level...and now they are in the NC when they were more then counted out.
Manziels picking apart of Alabama was incredible, but over his whole schedule there were games where he did not shine, although for the most part he looked great. I do not wanna see that Alabama performance take too much bias in the decision process. But, I think his freshman status says alot.... to come into the SEC, agains these defenses, as a freshman, and do this... it is quite incredible, and this is why he probably wins.
Also, totally agree with needing to wait till the end of the season. I mean, what if Te'o and the ND D come up with a bunch of picks, or FF's and return a few to the endzone? Possibly beat Bama in an upset? I know its regular season basis, but in that scenario, you would have to lock in Te'o as the winner if he could replicate what hes been doing all year against Bama in the big game.
